I posted this on the Wii bored a while ago and I got some people telling me I was a wii forum so not really fair so here I am posting it here on the PS3 forum. here is the orginal message:

If it wasn't for nintendo square would be bankrupt right now and all we would have is Enix. Heck even DQ has made the jump back to Nintendo why can't they do that for FF? Sure I'm excited about Crystal Bearers but after 20 years of brilliant succes don't you think it's time They showed some love back to Nintendo?

Nervous time for the xbots...hehe...The only failure Sony did was to release the PS3 at a higher price. Now that they've fix that think what would happen next? Haha, what makes you think the world wants M$ products? Europeans and Asians hates American products...they only bought the Xbox360 'cause it was the only system available back then, it was cheap and people were desperate to have a new toy for the holiday. Go shoot some more with your xbox since that's all you can do with that cheap box.

The bottom line is that the 360 is just a freaking GAMING machine. It does not try and be super duper fantasy in all kinds of things it just gets out right nasty in 2 things GAMES and ONLINE PERIOD. If your a gamer then look no further we all know the 360 is just what the doctor ordered.So take some AAA games and call me in the morning.Fuzzy_Munch

OMG, just what kind of games can i play with this box? Let me guess, LOTS of shooters? I would buy this box if they have games equal to FF13, MGS4, and Grand Turismo 'cause these are my games. This box has been out for two years now and it hasn't convinced me to take it home yet.

Here's some scary thoughts you (and all xbots) should know:

1) PS3 came out with an insane price so most loyal fans couldn't afford it when it first came out. Some bought your box 'cause they didn't have a choice or either desperate for something new. So what do you think would happen if your box and the PS3 came out at the same time with the same price at $399? Scary huh?

2) Your box has sold more not because of its superiority over the PS3, but because it's cheaper and it's been out for more than 2 years. We all know that the PS3 is more powerful if the right developer makes the game (not porting) like Konami, Squareenix, Naughty Dog and others. Now imagine if more developers start to master the programming for the PS3. Scary huh?

3) Your box was selling good at $399 with a 20GB, no wifi, no Blu-Ray and few selection of games when it first came out. Now imagine if the PS3 at $399 with a 40GB, wifi, Blu-Ray and also few selection, but better games. Is there a reason a PS loyal fan won't buy this version? Stripped down? Stripped down as in they can't play PS3 games? As in they can't play Blu-Ray movies? As in they can't play PS2 games? Do you xbots play Xbox1 games on your Xbox360 at all? Oh yeah, 'cause maybe there are no shooters? Haha, PS loyalist are used to varieties and not just shooters. Scary huh?

4) No games for PS3? It's been only a year for Christ sakes! Compare to your box offering for its first year, I think the PS3 has way, way, way better games and we are just talking about first generation games here for the PS3. High price = less installed base = developers not ready to commit yet = less games. Now that the PS3 price is attainable by most, what do you think will happen? I'll let you redo the math. Scary huh?

5) This is true and you can't deny it: It all comes down to brand loyalty. Yes, there are more xbots fan now, but there are more, lots more of PS fans out there. Examples of brand loyalty?

Ford cars/trucks are cheaper,have more power and are getting better in quality than the Japanese cars/trucks, but why do people still not buy them?

Sony, Panasonic, Olympus, and Nikon makes equal quality of cameras compare to Canon, but Canon always outsold them.

My point here? We are humans after all. It is normal for us to be loyal to things that we like; good or bad. Why do you think there are fanboys? The problem is, there are more Sony fanboys (oh please dont deny this). Scary huh

Europe (hates M$ by the way, see their OS) and Japan will be dominated by the PS3 pretty soon, its just a matter of time. Your box will probably survive North America since they are addicted to shooters (yeap, more shooters). M$ would have to buy more companies/people to survive.

BTW, what happens when you see the RED thing again after 3 years? The PS3 is very affordable by then just to let you know.

The 60GB is still expensive to move the PS3 to people's home. I can guarantee that the 60GB won't be sold out unless they drop the price also. It's true that the 60GB is a better buy, but it doesn't really make sense for an average person to spend more for something they would hardly use like an extra usb, card reader and BC. Most people that will buy the PS3 already have a PS2 at home so why would they pay an extra $100 (USA) for something they don't need? PS3 is made for next generation games and not for an older generation games.

For the whiners out there, you guys better hope Sony will sell more PS3 'cause if not, you will be left with a Blu-Ray player instead. Cheaper version is the way to go regardless of what's included or not with the system ( you can still play PS3 games damn it!).
