I think the question boils down to this:
Would PC games be different if consoles didn't exist?
The answer is simply yes.
The Witcher. Fabulous single player RPG and I highly recommend it. Get the Enhanced Edition as it adds nice improvements over the original.XIntoTheBlue
Agreed. Its one of the best RPGs I've ever played.
I can't figure out why. An expensive chain of high-overhead, brick-and-mortar storefronts when there's a severe downturn in the economy? I don't get it.
Microsoft won't be selling anything there you can't get elsewhere, including online. I don't understand the point. Mebbe it's just me . . . .

There are still a lot of people that for some reason or another would rather buy their hardware and software at a retail store.
As for me, I love to buy my games from Steam.
Whether you're playin one game, ten, or watching TV, all of those things are just as useless.
The only thing the games have over TV is that you are involved with technology and building your brain up to understand interfaces faster and easier.
So its not all bad.
I know people that spend 3 hours a day on the damn phone. WoW is a step up from that. :)

Welcome to MMORPGs. The only way to slow down or stop completely is to start putting a small timer between and during sessions, and then increasing that timer over time, till you don't need to play it anymore.
Or simply cancel the account, or deny access of the game's client through your firewall.Come on, man. He's the admin of his own computer.
Thats like telling someone to hide their drugs from themselves so they don't find them.
You guys are completely useless - and because of that - I'd advise you to keep playing, sir. Enjoy yourself. Its a great game, and we all have our addictions.
WoW FTW.

Also, don't listen to people that don't like the game, or are telling you that you are a virgin nerd. These people wouldn't be posting on the Gamespot forums if they weren't nerds themselves.
Its got 11 million subs because its a great game. Just make sure you exercise and study in between game sessions.
Meh, I've been hearing for years that pirating is killing PC gaming, but there are still good games out there and more on the way. Skeptomania
You do realize how many games are not being developed because of pirating, right?
Hundereds.
Go pirate some more.
