What is better gears or Halo3, they both are game superstars but which has better gameplay?

So many guitar hero's coming out. Band Hero, Guitar Hero 5, and Van Halen. SO MANY to choose from. Guitar Hero 5 has way more songs than Band Hero. AND VAN HALEN lacks party play. But all seem to get high ratings. What's better in your option.
