Level 11

Wow... that only took a month. Oh well, nothing too exciting. Just working on Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and getting the 100 ranked xbox Live wins achievement and then I can stop playing that game forever too :D

Another day, another level, hello videos

Finally, I made it to level 10. I'm not sure how much time I waste here during work but enough to finally upload videos. At this point I probably should focus on calling customers rather then post to my blog... but for some reason it is much more rewarding to type this then try to retire quota.... Well, it's almost noon, maybe I will just get lunch instead.

Where did my emblems go?

So as any good employee, I log into gamespot when I get to work so I can fill my day with unproductivity to find my glorious emblems I worked so hard populating my game library for gone. So I click through a bunch of people and see everyone is missing them. I guess I should read some updates to see if this was expected, but to me its just forshadowing on how bad my day will probably go :(

About time, I'm level 9

So after a few months of not writing anything, I've decided to put something here and also say Yippie, i'm now level 9. Holidays were fun. Busy getting back to work and also working on some older 360 games I didn't beat a few months back. I've decided to dedicate my time to getting the most achievements out of my games possible before I crack open the new ones.... making me a true achievement loser :)

Inventory is a pain

So I finally finished my 8-bit NES catalog. So the final count is 246 cartridges (not including some duplicates I guess I had sitting in spare cases). However I still have to finish putting the Famicom cartridges I have sitting in my closet. I also got the 7800 carts finished, so all I have left is the 2600 to finish cataloging. Due to all the Sears carts being Atari games re-named, I have a lot less 2600 games on my Games Lists vs actual cartridge variations that I'm inserting into excel.

I've decided for sorting purposes to use the Atari rarety list to add another data filter to sort against. So my excel workbook has 16 different sections, and my next goal is to figure out a convenient way to create an access database so I can possibly ruen queries and such... who knows though, that's another project for another day.

I have way too many games in my attic

So I've decided to bring down all the cases and get an active list of all the games I own. I like the games library feature in here, but i'm also creating a excel file with tabs per system and am considering creating an access database in the future to track all the additional information.

Due to my decent sized collection of Famicom, Famicom Disk System, and pirate NES games, there is a bunch of stuff I can't list in the library on the site. However I realized I have way too many games. I've spent 2 hours on my Nintendo cartridges, I've entered over 115 and I still probably have another 100+ to go. And I should have close to that many Atari 2600 games. Thank god I sold all of the other vintage systems before I moved, or i would never be able to get through this task. Oh well, back to listing.

WiiFit strikes again

So last night a few friends came over for dinner. We were sitting around the table talking about how large my 3 month old son has become, and my wife commented how she weighs him on the WiiFit to get an idea where he is at.

So we go to demonstrate on the WiiFit and our friend who owns a wii wants to do a wii fit test to see where he is at. While he admits he is overweight, when the Wii gave him a +20 year to his age and made him look like a Chuck D mii, he suddenly is so angered by the WiiFit he vows to go out and purchase one as soon as the local Target has one again.

On a side note, the WiiFit said my son was now 17.9lbs, so go figure :-P
