As big of a Microsoft fan as I am, this makes me upset. Xbox live was revolutionized by the headset. It's what made Xbox live what it is. To not include it feels like Microsoft forgot what their service is about, an online gaming community. I will undoubtedly be buying the extra piece of hardware, but it's a shame that not everyone will have one. How am I supposed to hear teammate chatter while my surround sound is blasting? Kinect is in no way a headset replacement.

Only GameSpot would pull the trigger on a story like this against Microsoft after only a few minutes of the service being down.
