Pick whichever console you think you'll enjoy playing more. Personally the games that have been announced as exclusives for Xbox one (vs PS4) are more in line with my tastes (Halo 5, Titanfall, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3, Forza). If you prefer PS4 exclusives such as infamous and kill zone then go ahead and get a PS4. Since I'm really into fighting games, twitch.tv integration is important to me as that is the premier video game streaming service.

It's funny, I hear this said about almost Xbox one game. The great thing about the Xbox ones exclusives is that they hit almost all the different audiences. DR3 looks good as long as they can nail the character down right. I hope he's not super generic (character design says otherwise). However the size of the world, and the options you'll have looks unprecedented. I hope they add in a bit more goofiness than was shown. All in all, I'm excited.

Yeah I would almost prefer to use the control stick than the dpad on the old 369 controller. That being said, get yourself a fight stick. It takes some getting used to, but you'll learn to love it.

There came a point this gen where I really stopped caring about graphics. I remember when these console first came out how in awe I was with perfect dark zero's textures and gears of wars. However I think we've reached a point where the money needed to further enhance graphics is not worth what it adds to the game. I think computational power should be put to use in better ways such as advanced AI. Imagine actually being able to have a conversation with an AI character without a script. Right now I see things like that as the future. I also think that with how strong the indie scene has been recently, people have come to realize game mechanics and innovative gameplay trumps graphics any day.

So you're going to share your account with 10 stangers?

If so you're an idiot

Jaysonguy
Yeah that would be dumb. But i think it going to be that you can link other accounts to yours (up to 10). So really you wouldn't be sharing the account, just the games associated with that account.

Very true, it seems ver exploitable. However it would be quite the commitment to do this with complete strangers. You only have 10 spots. I'll take me for example. I have about 4-5 friends that I could see myself sharing games with. Throw in my sister and were up to 5-6, those last few spots to me feel important to future-proof myself. What if I make a new gamer friend? Wat if I find a girl who likes to game? What if I have a child (console life cycles are getting longer and longer) what if my parents want to join in? I don't see many people willing to exploit it to the fullest. Plus this is really only for single player games. If you want to play WITH friends and family (not on same console) you would need multiple copies anyways, and if the trend at this E3 is any indication, you WILL be wanting to play with friends.

Makes sense to me. They are trying to replicate the experience of buying and sharing games amongst your friends and family like people do with physical content. Currently me and my friends will share the same copy of mass effect for example. However since we are moving into this digital only landscape, that would not be possible. Microsoft is giving us this option to share with the people close to us. It's really giving us more options to share our digital content, more than they have to, and definitely more than any other digital content service provider is doing (iOS, steam).

Whoa whoa whoa, although the argument of a next gen, one console, world is a very interesting topic of debate let's realize that th TC was not talking about this. He actually thinks that a console could be made to play all wii, xbox360 and PS3 games. This idea is ludicrous. TC just go buy a large cardboard box, stack a PS3, Wii, and Xbox360 inside and write on it, "PSWii60." Done

SO is this Natal conference happening now? Is there any coverage at all of it, at least someone somewhere live blogging the event, or do we have to wait for it to air on MTV. I can't find a single website that seems to be covering this event, or any information on the time.

Im pretty sure this video is from around E3, back when Natal had it's own chip. Now they have opted to use 360 processing power to reduce lag. Besides the post date on youtube, i see no indication that this is a recent video. Microsoft will make sure it works right.
