Delta force 2 for PC

Ok i have read every forum post telling people to do a number of different things, which in some ways helped but DID-NOT solve the darksiders2 camera stutter/twitch problem. I thankfully have found the real solution which allows this game to run in its full glory. I have not encountered a single camera motion stutter since. I do not know if this issue persists with nvidia cards but i own an ATI radeon 7950HD.

The problem exists due to a miscommunication between the game and the video card. The frame queue system is not working properly. This is also referred to as max frames ahead. Also the games v-sync is absolutely terrible. These are the games two problems but the frame queue issue is the main cause of the stutter. All games by default have this frame queue feature enabled (your video card renders anywhere from 1 to 3 frames ahead of time and they wait in line to be sent to your monitor) Darksiders2 for some reason sets your video card frame queue limit to 0 (either a glitch or they just did not properly port it over to pc) which does not allow your video card/cpu to cache any frames causing severe stuttering in this game.

ATI users

Step1. ATI users must download a program called RadeonPro and add a darksiders2 profile. Once you have done this you have to go to find the advanced tab setting called "flip queue size" and set it from (driver default) to (1).

Step2. Disable v-sync option in darksiders2.  Force-enable v-sync in RadeonPro, you can do this by going to radeonpro "Tweaks tab" (DO NOT USE THE vertical sync control under the "Visuals" tab) and set VSYNC to "always on".

To apply these settings you have just made in RadeonPro Look to the left where you have the darksiders2 profile listed, right click Darksiders2 and press "APPLY NOW" this will lock in those settings. Make sure radeonpro is running than open darksiders2. These changes will not take effect until you completely exit and re-open darksiders2. If you make any changes with radeonpro WHILE your game is running they will not take effect until you restart.

(OPTIONAL) another nice little addition you can add using RadeonPro is Anisotropic Filtering which darksiders2 does not offer by default. Under the "Visuals tab" i have forced it to 8X and floors/surfaces look much better with little to no performance hit.

NVIDIA USERS

(I do not own an nvidia card so i am not sure if this fix will work as well as radeonpro does for ati cards but this is basically the same adjustments just using a different program)

1. Open nvidia control panel, add darksiders2 to applications profile

2. Set MAX FRAMES AHEAD to 1

3. Force enable nvidia control panels form of v-sync (make sure the v-sync option in the game is disabled first)

PS .Upon starting the game it will lag for the first 1-2 seconds as everything is loaded into memory (as with any pc game) so dont quickly jump to the conclusion that it did not work.. So give the game a second to jibbulate than enjoy the game in its full glory.

justine takes like a half an hour and you should be thankful that they even gave us that bonus little easter egg download content.. if you cant play a game for a half hour straight than you should delete your gamespot account. It adds to the suspense because you know that if you die you die for good.. And to be honest there is only one moment where your life is threatened in any way and if you die at that part twice in a row you shouldnt be gaming to begin with. And amnesia the dark descent very well offered the ability to save your game, i have a log file with over 100 autosaves. So dont try and discredit a great game with your negative attitude and make people think like they won't be able to save their progress in the next title

If you havent noticed this game is called call of duty: world at war.. NOT CALL OF DUTY 5! because it has no relations to cod4 and treyarch is making this not activision.. its like buying the cheaper grocery store brand product. DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO BE AN UPGRADE FROM COD4! Activison is the real company that knows how to make cod! They just want our money to boost some sales.. hopefully they use this money to make an insane call of duty 6. But dont get your panties all caught up in a bundle over this game.
