Since they douchebags epicgames bought out people can fly painkiller developers, they should just let them make gears of war 3 then the game might not suck....epicgames has gone downhill proved ever since unreal championship 2# cant make a good game.
The original ut1999 and quake 2 level designers those dude's were on fire made some killer good flowing maps, even ut2k3 had some amazing maps, not all of original ut mappers helped with ut3 so that lacks in level design compared to past games.
The unreal engine 3.0 is better than crytek 2 engine/crysis engine it supports 4 different lighting techniques, plus you can mix and match any of the 4.
no devs have really pure/per pixel lighting/dyamic shadow game yet though in ue3.0.
