There are games lined up for release for the next year or so, so its guaranteed another year of life. Wild guess, but 3 years maybe? After that they'de probably come up with a PSP2 or something.

Is the system requirements lab accurate? Cause i tested my laptop for DOOM3 and i actually passed the minimum and recomended specs for the game. I really dont think so, cause i downloaded the demo and it was running like crap.

Thanks for the fast replys. I'm a little less worried about my RAM now. I might take off the CPU/RAM gadget, cause it freaks me out every time it pushes 90. I keep thinking my computer will explode or something.lol

if you go to your processes list, youll see lots of processes. its those that use your ram not programs specificly. for example, sys files may be ruinning in the backgorund, such as fiels that make your computer actually run. those use your ram. if you need to play a game with more than 350 mb, either play with a bit of lag, dont play, or scrap up the very few dollars to get another ram stickJsung8070

Oh, I see. Is it normal for computers to use up most of the RAM to run, or is it just me? I saw this gamespot feature about RAM, and they said "If you have less than 512MB, you need more RAM" or something like that. 1022MB should have been enough but i guess not. Does anyone have above 1022MB?

So my RAM is 65% right now, this means Vista and Iexplorer are using about 700MB of RAM? This would only leave 322MB of RAM. What do i do when i need to play a game that requires more than 350MB RAM?

Hey, i'm not sure if this is the right forum, but i have a question about RAM. I currently have 1022MB of RAM. And since i am running windows vista, there is a gadget in the corner (kinda like a speedometer) that measures how much RAM and CPU I'm using. I can understand the CPU being around the 50% to 70% area but why is my RAM at 50% even when I'm not running any application? Also does this mean i only have 511MB of RAM (since I'm using 50% of it)

yeah you need a wireless router. There's also this thing you can plug into your computer (that is conected to the internet) and it sends out a WIFI signal that your PSP and Nintendo DS can pick up. Its probably cheaper than buying a wireless router.

Yeah I'm guessing it will be sweet or ryder. I'm hoping it will be Tommy Vercetti, but that wont happen.

I sometimes play it online. You should go to some twisted metal fan page and introduce yourself before you start the game online. Cause there's (on average) about 15~20 players online, and most of them know each other. The first time i played it online, i was waiting for the game to start, but the other players were chatting away, the game didn't start for about 15 minutes. So i think it is better to get to know people first, before you play it.
