i definitely agree with everything you said rudorlf, i think that game developers really need to try to be more innovative, im tired of playing what feels like the exact same first person shooter OVER and OVER and OVER. They may be "different games," but they dont feel like it. and im not even talking about sequels, just all games in general. personally i would rather play a game that tries to do great, innovative things and doesn't quite do them perfectly, than a game that sticks to the status quo, yet does it perfectly. I just believe there should be more progression and change in the gaming business, not just churning out more titles that aren't necessarily anything different. sorry if that was confusing, but it made sense to me :)
