Hello, I am sportsguy342, the name isn't really catchy, hopefully it will "catch" on soon. I couldn't really think of any other names that would describe myself, anyways, I only signed up yesterday, so, what the heck, I'm in.
Michigan couldn't defend two things last year. Speed and the Spread Offense. You can tell because of not only what App State did to Michigan, but what Oregon did to them too. Oregon was fast and ran the Spread. Ohio State was fast, but no Spread there. I think they stopped the problem when they played Florida in the Capitol One Bowl. LSU is already fast, being in the "superior" conference, the SEC. LSU faces the best of the best every week of every football season of every year. I'm not a LSU fan, but they will win.
NBA refs will usually let players get away with a lot. If you want to watch a game that will be have every foul called, you know your traveling calls, double dribbles, shooting fouls, just watch a college basketball game. College refs usually don't let you get away with much. And college refs usually don't bet on games either. Back to USA basketball though, they definately have a shot at winning the gold, though I am not saying they WILL win the gold. They would be better if they had Amare Stoudamire, the center from the Suns. I just don't really like the idea of having one center on the whole team. This team is a shooting team, which could come back to haunt them. I mean, they do have Dwight Howard, which he can pretty much match up against anybody. But, it's always good to have a back-up plan. If Dwight goes down, the whole team goes down.
