I'll be getting the PS2 version, simply because I haven't gone next-gen...as far as consoles are concerned, that is. Plus, then I won't have to buy even more guitar controllers.
The first pc game I was into was The 7th Guest, but that was on a friend's computer, so I couldn't play nearly as much as I wanted. The first game that hooked me on my own machine was either The Crystal Key or Mafia.
Yeah, I'd go with casual games first and see how that goes. I know a girl who got hooked on both Bejeweled 2 and Zuma. She isn't playing shooters yet, but she does game on my PSP now and then!
