I get that. It was fun and kept me busy for hours, but frustration mounted and a hidden story motive revealed itself. FC5, unlike FC New Dawn, the player never gets revenge. We like stories where the good guys wins. That never happens in FC5. The antagonist is a drug-crazed religious cult bent on apocalypse, abduction, torture, and murder. Got you drooling for payback? Sorry, you lose. That is if you don’t say YES, atone for your sins, and join the cult that god protects. Are the developers slyly promoting religion? Are they trashing religion? God only knows but it is creepy as hell. I would pass on Far Cry 5 and try New Dawn +9, or FC3 +8. The world is creepy enough today.
