Oh my god! This morning when i went on gamespot to see the latest buzz, guess what i saw, Guitar Hero 5! Come on, there have been about 7 or 8 Guitar Hero Games, and there hasnt been much change between all of them, other than the fact of adding a microphone and a drum set. On the other hand, I like what Rock Band is doing. They have only released 3 Rock Band games, and one of them is a high scoring game from the editors on the PSP, exclusively. But the developers of Guitar Hero seem to think that they should simultaneously release new games, even though you can download new content. So i really don't get why they are releasing new games every 5 or 6 months or so. Why don't they release track packs, like Rock Band does, and release a new game every 2 or 3 years! It's a waaay better idea then to keep on creating new games, and this creates more of a hype for the game series. It only makes sense to me. If i were the developers who are creating millions of more Guitar Hero games currently, i would stop, until people stop buying your games, and move on to another past-time in their lives.
