But yes is can. It outputs 16:9 on the notebook screen. When connected to another monitor is outputs correctly. But on the TV which is 16:9, for some reason, it can only send 4:3 image resolution. I don't know why. What I want is to just send the correct image resolution to my TV.
Well, my TV can make the image appear full screen, as in turn the 4:3 into 16:9. BUT, it is not a real 16:9 image, it's still the same 4:3 image but stretched out to fit the screen. What I need is to make my pc output 16:9 resolution to my TV. Any more suggestions please? I'm desperate because my PC doesn't have HDMI output, and I know VGA can output 16:9 resolutions, but I just don't know how.
I bought a VGA cable but when I connect it to my LG Plasma the image comes out with 4:3 aspect ratio. And my computer can't simply change the resolution output. My TV model is one of the following : - 42PQ30R - 50PQ30R - 42PQ60R - 50PQ60R not sure which, these models appear in the owner's manual. and my PC is a Dell Latitude D830 with an integrated Intel GMA Is there any way of getting a 16:9 aspect ratio output? Please help, thanks
Tried it but all those options are disabled. The Screen option is always disabled, also the Just Scan option. The 16:9 option fills the screen but its not outputing a real 16:9 ratio, but a 4:3 stretched image. Thanks, I'll be waiting for more suggestions.
