I dont really regret buying any games. I still love Assassin's Creed. It's the only game I have that doesn't have online. The games I play the most would be, Rainbow Six Vegas 1, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Smackdown vs Raw 2009, GTA IV and sometimes, I play COD WAW :). I never buy a game, that won't have replay value, although, at first, I did find RSV 2 dissapointing at first. but now I actually play it. The one game, that I had my hopes up for was Spiderman 3, I just loved the movie, and I got it on blu-ray with my PS3. The game's trailers, looked super good, I don't know why the game didn't turn out to look like the trailers. If only it looked as good as the trailers.

I agree with this guy, so who cares, if 1 ps3 exclusive is not going to be an exclusive? as long as its coming out for ps3, then why would we even care? besides if you guys think about it, 360 is loosing more exclusives then us, and it doesnt matter, its not like final fantasy XII is only coming out for 360, its still coming out for ps3, so we still get to play it ! and dont go off topic, its not a systems war, its wether theres a remake of VII or not ( i wish there is, its the best final fantasy and the characters rock !) !

p.s: there are still a lot of ps3 exclusives: GoW 3, Killzone 2 and for all of u who dont know about this game, its called Infamous, check it out its a ps3 exclusive, and there are many more !

I hope they make a Final fantasy Vii remake for the PS3, it will be amazing !

no its not a rip-off, Sony didnt release the 40gb ps3 for people to get ripped off, they released the 40gb ps3 for a reason. a lot of people already have a ps2, why do u need backwards compability, and people dont even need those flash card readers, and some people didnt want the 2 extra usb ports. so sony made a new ps3 model that doesnt have all that and is less expensive, and those same people are complaining again, the 40gb ps3 is not a rip off. If the following is your condition, then the 40gb ps3 is the best for you:

Backwards Compability: If you have a PS2 already, then u dont need to pay the extra 100 dollars for the 80gb ps3, the 40gb ps3 is good!

USB Ports: If you dont need 4 usb ports, then again the 40gb ps3 is good for you, the 40gb ps3 has 2 usb ports, but u can always buy more for around 15 dollars!

40GB more HDD space: sure the 80gb ps3 has more space, but to tell the truth, u dont even need that much, but if u do then u can always upgrade to a more higher one !

btw, incase u guys didnt know, the 40gb ps3 uses enhanced coolers so:

It runs much more quieter, isnt as loud as the 80gb, 60gb or 20gb, and is much more cooler, so it has less chance of overheating and stays cool all the time!

so considering all of this, if you dont care about the bc, 2 extra usb ports, 40gb of more hdd space or even the flash card readers, then no the 40gb ps3 is not a rip of. It has everything the same as the other ps3's and runs much more quiter and cooler, but it doesnt have all that stuff that i meantioned above, and no its not a rip off!

My 40gb ps3 never froze, but today it froze 2 times, first it froze while i was playing rainbow six vegas online, and then it wouldn't read any discs, but then i let it cool off for 30 minutes,i put it on again, i started working, but after like 2 minutes, it froze again, the same game while playing online, so then now i m letting it cool off again, but for like 2 hours maybe, i hope it starts working again, anyone tell me how to fix this, but i hope it starts working again!

Ok so here's the whole story:

I came back home from school, ate, and then i started playing my PS3, i was on the interent browser, and then i started playing Rainbow Six Vegas online, after that, while i was playing the game,it froze, so i reset the system, and now it won't read any discs, i tried rainbow six vegas and splinter cell double agent, and it starts the game, but when the Playstation 3 logo comes, after that, it just takes me back to the main menu saying:

An error occured during the start operation

oh yeah btw, i bought thee system in late January from Best Buy this year(2008) and i have a 2 year warranty with them , do u think they will take it back, and how do i fix this please ! and thank!
