It has to be wired to a processing unit box to help provide fps boost . HDMI wire goes in ps4 and unit box. Another wire connects vr to the unit box and micro USB from the unit box to PS4.

HDMI from tv to unit box is optional if you want to display your vr on TV

The VR is low quality and pixelated. You should wear it like a crown and not a cap if you want to angle your eyes clearly at the vr

The only good vr is re7. Playing as cinema mode is good if you don't want to sit next to tv. Heavy text based games will be hard to read.

I have gone 5+ hours wearing it without any major pain but it tends to get uncomfortable after an hour or 2 and needs to be frequently adjusted.
