I just bought a Wii U because the price has been lowered by 30 % since launch, the software has been updated for the better and some great games are coming up - new versions of "Smash Brothers" and "Mario Kart".
The loading time is still way too long (for instance half a minute or so waiting for new cutscene or level in Lego City), but else I think the Wii U works fine and the gamepad is the best gamepad in history.
So when/if we also finally get "Pokemon Stadium/Revolution Wii U", "Wii U Sports" (with tennis also this time around!), "Wii U Party" and the software is optimized with lower loading times as a result, this console will be even more popular than the Wii in our home.
By the way, I look forward to a Wii U 3D with much more powerful hardware. Then we would be rocking for real!
