I agree. I'm trying to have reasons and opinions why I should choose either one series. Thank you for responding but i'm looking for a bit more info.

I'd have to go with Radiata Stories, I own both but with Radiata's 177 characters and it's split storylines, it's altogether a better game. The graphics are better and the voice acting was easier to listen to. And as with a story from square-enix, it's worth it in every way. Also, the longer you play Tales, the longer the loading time gets. I don't know what is up with it, but it gets irritating if you plan on playing for a good length of time. Check out both games and find the one that's right for you. They both have a similar battle config. and the story to both is good. I just thought i'd post my opinion so I hope this helps.

Yeah, I liked part 2 of each series. I was also wondering about siren, but I think i'll stick to the topic at hand.

Yeah, I think I remember liking Fatal Frame 2 more than 3, Thanks for that.

[QUOTE="PlayPlayStation"]Go watch a horror film...they are usually scarier and you can save some $ and time.cheezy909
I actually find playing games more scary. I think its because you cant just sit there and watch the plot unfold, you are actually in direct control of the character and its in your hands wether he/she lives or dies. But thats just me. Oh, but ive never played fatal frame and only have ever played a small amount of Silent Hill 2, so i wont be much help.

I agree completely, thank you for adding.

True, but I like the interaction and submersion into a world rather than sitting around watching a predictable and cheezy horror flick. I usually play RPG's so the story and element of mood mean much more than simple television.

I've played a few of both but got sidetracked from the survival/horror games.

I'm trying to get back into them but don't know which one would be more worth the money for a scare.

Feedback is appreciated.

I also play RE, but they don't usually scare me at all.

I never said that it was a rpg. I simply stated that this topic is mostly pointed in that direction. I simply stated that I own GOW.

Yeah, I have those games already but I seem to be referring mainly to RPG's but many other types of games are headed in that direction as well. (DMC4 comes to mind.)
