God i hate people use that excuse! stop saying how early the Wii came out cus its no excuse and its not gonna hold up! Its nintendo for crying out loud, they are an empire!.
You can't a system to have an amazeing line up only 4 months after it's released..even the 360 took about a year to get a good line up.
Yeah thats right but the Wii dosnt even have online gameplay yet so most games arent holding us up! and its time Nintendo start getting up off their asses in my opinion!
amenI disagree. Online gaming is not making a console being hardcore. Last time, I remember the PS1 and the PS2 had no and mediocre online gaming. Guess what they won.
The PS1 was two generations ago and PS2 was last generation. It's a different time now and online play is pretty much turning into the standard. As far as games go, overall the Wii could be doing better. When I say I want a mature game for the Wii I don't mean something full of blood and guts. I mean I want something with some substance and depth. The Wii is sorely lacking in this area and judging by the upcoming release lists it doesn't appear that this will change anytime soon.
Yeah, and the WIi will have online soon, just some people are too impatient. As far as games go, the Wii is doing pretty good. The Wii has quite a few games that have substance and depth, and it's no ones fault but your own that you don't like them. Here's a list of some Zelda, SSX Blur, Godfather, Wario Ware(if you have friends to play with), and Truama Center. For upcoming games we are getting MoH:V which if were lucky we'll get in the 8's. And in April the Wii just might get it's next AAA game Super Paper Mario.
Eh.....sorry did i hear you correctly as you just used Warioware for an example of an in-depth game? My god you couldnt have been more wrong no offence. I finished that game in an hour and finished having fun with multiplayer with my friends in another hour and the game was then useless really!. The Wii should have had online gameplay from the start because they had plenty of time to do so and theres no excuse!. Most games out now suck and lack in-depth......i cant arque with Zelda but that game came out in November last year!. Seriously why do you defend Nintendo so much cus it's clear theres definite room for improvement and i dont mean in another 6 months time....i mean as soon as possible!!.
I said Warioware if you have friends to play it with. While it's not exactly in depth or deep it can provide endless hours of entertainment, in the same way Wii Sports does. I just don't understand why some people want online so much, and really what games would even be good for online anyways? Most of the Wii's multiplayer games are more fun when your actually playing them with other people, playing people on Wii Sports over the internet just wouldn't be as fun. Especially since Nintendo most likely wouldn't use voice chat. Like I said before just because you yourself don't like the games that are out, does not mean that all the games suck. I myself am having a lot of fun with the games I have now (Zelda, SSX Blur, and Elebits). I won't argue that there is room for improvement, but I'm more willing to have patience and wait for it.
Damn... Man all I can say is WHAT THE ****... LiL_PiNo
It's stupid but you really can't ask a question like this in OT and expect to get an answer or expect it not to start some stupid debate.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"][QUOTE="PsWii606"]i love nintendo and i love wii but is it just me or every game announced for wii is either a minigame bonanaza or some japanese anime styled fighting or adventure game. zelda is fantastic and we need more of those epic games on wii. galaxy will be amazing for sure and so will brawl. but from what im hearing miyamoto is losing his mind making a bunch of games for the non gamer (with the exception of galaxy). nintendo needs to understand that the hardcore gamer is where 95 percent of their sales come from and they seem to forget that nd if they make their game library 95 percent non gamer and 5 percent hardcore they are gunna lose a lot of fans in the process. i mean my whole argument began when i picked up god of war 2 . god of war 2 is amazing it really is . its sooo epic and the puzzles are soo cool its among one of my favorite games. i consider myself a nintendo fanboy so trust me im not trying to piss anyone off here . but isnt it time miyamoto made a new ip that is not mario or zelda . he needs to make a more mature epic iconic character that will stick in this industry just like mario zelda and metroid has. trust me pikmin is awesome but does it have to staying power of franchises like mario zelda metroid god of war metal gear solid halo and gta. DONT THINK SO. nintendo me like most of your fans are hardcore gamers . do you really think a 85 year old man who picks up a wii will be a customer of yours for the next 20 years . start focusing on your fans instead of people who havent given a damn about you for the last 20 years. step it up nintendo because i want more to look forward to then just galaxy brawl metroid and the next zelda . i mean no more heroes is an example of what we need more on a nintendo console . i love you nintendo and everyone else on this message board does too . they are the ones you need to put 95 percent of your focus on . and if you dont your gunna slowly lose them. i dont care about sales . i care about good games.PsWii60695% of Nintendo sales are from the 'hardcore' gamer? Those nerdy teenagers who think violence makes a great game? Who moan when games aren't mature enough? Who buy the same few genres of game year in, year out and who moan when games companies try to expand their markets and increase profits? Where'd the 95% even come from? :S Anyway, I think Nintendo are doing a fine job. They've been the best developer, making the best games for many many years now so i'm not going to be telling them what to do in terms of creating franchises. It seems to me that you're just demanding mature content, suggesting that such content makes for great, epic games. Maybe Nintendo should sacrifice originality too, that way we all play the same games over and over again, except with graphical coatings every 5 years and name changes to trick us into believing otherwise. hey a hole i already said i was exxagerating and know you actually got me completely wrong i buy many genres and a good 30 or so games a year so your shut down .
Your going to get modded for calling him an "a-hole"
*sigh* jesus you people give nintendo way too much credit!. Theres no point defending them.....especially with all the dissapointment with the gamecube!. This is Nintendo's comeback year but its like they arent even bothered yet in my view. I quess pswii606 we are alone in this thread. I'll admit nintendo are doing well with sales and popularity of the Wii but if there's no improvement beyond this stage then im seeing deja vu with the gamecube's lack of success in the future.Evilsmiler
The only way you'll see the Wii fail is if they do what they did with the GC, which was trying to compete with Microsoft and Sony head on. And trying to appeal to the hardcore gamers.

So, go play games with your friends instead, which is a lot more fun anyways. So far I'm satisfied with the Wii's line up, but I guess I can't help it that you don't like the games that are coming out.
