Our old computer was getting a little slow, and being three years old I decided that we should upgrade. So, I began my research on every part I was getting. Going back and forth between which I’d chose and finally, I chose. My new system is an AMD 3800 X2, 2gigs of Ram, Asus a8n-sli deluxe, EVGA 7900 GT signature series, and enermax power supply and lian li case. All very nice and looks awesome. Very happy with the case. The best I’ve seen in any application. We haven’t powered it up yet, but I expect that it should go smoothly. We didn’t buy an optical drive or hdd because we had one waiting on the shelf from when they went on sale and we have two optical on our current PC. I’ll write more when I load up the software and get started on how it runs games.

Today is my birthday. And in being that, it is also my twin's (by blood) and triplet's (not blood) birthday. These past two weeks have been awesome mainly because we had last week off from school and this week I only had to go to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday I took a field trip to Harlem, NY. It was mad fun and then Wednesday I stayed home form school. On Thursday I went to the Mark Twain house and HTB. Then today is my birthday. I found some awesome music and have really gotten started on a project I wrote. I don’t know when it will be done but I will have a blog telling the details. Tonight I’m going to see silent hill and tomorrow i'm going to see Night Watch at cine-studio. It’s going to be amazing. I’ll update on how they went as well as if we have a party. Viva triplés! I hate myspace; I wanted to come out with it. I did however write one blog I wanted before I deleted my account so this is it. My rant and ponders about stuff.

 

If you know me, or have been around me when I'm on the computer. I have a striking attraction to random, obscure, and often puzzling videos. However, I always am up to date on the newest info and rumors of video game and computer stuff. On that note, I was surfing gametrailers.com for some new videos, specifically one showing the Nintendo's revolution controller. As some of you know, it bears a striking resemblance to a remote control for a television, which is held in one hand. This is very cool and unique; however, a fan mock-up of what it could look like caught my eye. It was a system that had a detachable wireless visor that would track head movement and eye movement and simulate a screen. This is very unrealistic and the way is says it can connect to a TV, but shows an image projected on the visor is contradictory, also if it only head and eye movement, you would have to constantly moving your eyes and head. But one thing that I have thought about and is really essential to complete virtual reality, Movement. The video simply shows a character stepping forward and it works, it shows no continuing motion. You can't go walking forward you would run out of room. And you can't turn because then you wouldn't be facing the TV. Then I thought several years ago, maybe it would like a treadmill, but you would lack side stepping, strafing, and backpedaling. But having compared it to the current fps games on the computer, you don't press a key for every foot. You simply push w and you go forward until you stop. Well If a DDR mat that was fully realized with a sensor on the diagonal you would step forward and back and side step. This seems to me to be the best answer. If you want you can check out the video. It's pretty cool. Also, on a side note, I am moving so the day we move out is today. This was very boring because they moved in the morning and so when I got home, my house was empty. I was with my friend so we decided to prank call some people, but that got old. My whole family was gone and so was my dog so I couldn't play with him, but I did have my bird. So we took out the bird and I fell a sleep in my empty house with a bird. And now I am at my friend's house sleeping over.

 

That was it unimpressed, I was too. But what ever. Two posts in like five minutes awesome. Peace.

Recently I have gotten into podcasts and video podcasts. There isn’t a lot of new stuff or anything, its just I have gotten into Tiki Bar which has really been great as well as Adicolor. Adicolor is supposed to be about the different colors of Adidas shoes; however I might be misinterpreting it because so far it’s been nothing but surreal and puzzling videos. Now that’s not to say that they aren’t very good, they're amazing, just unrelated to shoes. And on the subject of shoes, I have taken a liking to a certain shoe called the Voltage Heelie. The shoe with a wheel in the heel, thus the name. Now they seem like a good idea to me but, my dad thinks they are dangerous and a waste of money. this is a little hard to believe considering I have a paintball gun, air soft gun, scooter, long board, drivers permit, and a potato gun that is of my own experimental design that is meant to be shoulder mounted (it works), and if that were to break the PVC, it would shatter like glass and send pieces of plastic rocketing into my shoulder, arm, body, and most importantly, right side of my head. However, I have to show him by bringing it up every time I see a person who has one to show him that they aren’t dangerous. While time consuming it is gratifying to know that every time I show him someone wearing them, I win a little.

Recently I have gotten into Sudoku on my cell phone and I am currently 603 on the list and rising. The car is no closer to being bought, nor am I spending any money. For some reason my parents keep buying furniture for our new house. We had one sofa, one loveseat, one recliner that I broke, one table for eating, and no tables (coffee or lamp). we now have our old table, a new dining room set with chairs, dresser(which is empty), a locking glass cabinet(which is empty), three sofas, two loveseats, one recliner, one chair, a brand new futon for my brother, two lamp tables, one coffee table, and tons of old tarnished brass floor standing lamps. It’s gotten a little out of control. And the fact that they are getting it cheap I only compelling them to buy more. On the plus side, we did just by new Boston acoustic front right and left speakers, rear left and right speakers for our family room. We had small rears in our old house but they were just too small to really get anything good. And our old fronts were eclipses that were about 17 years old. so all in all we have brand new surround sound(except the center speaker, maybe ill sabotage and get a whole Boston system.), and room filled with tables and couches.

So people stop by still. Now we just have more room to keep them and hang out. We did another project for school. A pre-calc class. Turned out awesome. We have some new projects coming up for filming, some secret project for Sundance, and a few other obscurities. We are thinking of doing a podcast and had come up with an idea about a year ago and still have been swamped with other junk so maybe in our free time. Well I’ve emptied my head of thoughts (a lot of thoughts, woke up at 9 and its Saturday.) so this is the longest blog so far. Peace

for a long time i had spent almost all my free time on games, be it PS2, PSP, PC, or what ever. i am 16 and the now most important thing in my life is definatly getting a car. it is hard to buy new games when i have to save, because my parnets wont buy a car for me, or pay for insurance, or gas. so alot of expensises are on the for front and i am anticipating a big bill. therefore, to anyone who cares, i am probably, no going to buy any new games or systems for a little while. while this may be trobleing to some it, and i dont know who, but it just means that i am taking a break and foucusing on differnt things and try to finish some games that i have negleceted to beat. in may i will be getting my licsense, in june or july i will be getting my 1994 BMW 318is two door, black, metal sunroof, power everthing, standard transmission automobile for $4,000, and will be in debt forever more.

Today I went to go see V for Vendetta. It was the single best movie I have ever seen. it was better that all the matrix’s, all the X Men, Spiderman, old Jackie Chan, and Bruce Lee movies put together. It started off amazing and introduced a character better and more elaborately than I had ever seen in a movie. It had so many twists and plot turns that it was almost astonishing to keep them all together. The action was bar none, the most intense and amazing I had seen since On Bak. It didn't have high flying action, or gun fighting. All it had was a very realistic knife fight that stretched the boundaries of gravity and the human mind. The way that it centered not on the action, the way the last matrix did, but on the characters and the symbolism and overall uniqueness of the plot. Now if you look at it as an action or drama it will be great, but if you look deeper, you see the point of the movie. Imagine yourself in the shoes of Natalie Portman’s character, she walks down the street and you almost get arrested. Then a man in a mask comes and saves you and then rants and raves on the letter V, and describing his personality with it almost exclusively. Just think if the government was doing this and all of this change, all of this tradition over turned in two years, is almost too hard to handle. The best part is that everything is totally believable. Every part, every scene, every second is believable and you can see how a nation can change against odds that seem insurmountable. all of the misgivings and commercialism sellouts of the matrix series, the parts that seemed to be there just for show, all the parts are forgiven in my book by the complete and utter lack of responsibility to a studio to produce a big budget movie. All of the story and puns at the United States are obvious and blunt. They are speaking to the citizens of action, the people inside people that have the need for change and the pursuit of a better tomorrow. this complete devotion to the plot and the story will leave you emotionally drained at the end of the movie and will make you ask yourself if you could send that train down the tracks and know that you will change the world forever. Any way, you can see I have taken a little too hard to the movie and got away from myself, but the point is it won’t be the most action packed movie like the matrix trilogy, but it will be better than every movie that you have seen and heard about. if by chance you have no chance of getting to see the movie in theaters, you must burry yourself in the ground and wait however long till the DVD comes out and then have you neighbor dig you up and drive you to the nearest best buy and pick it up because no one has any business being or doing anything before they see this movie. And just think what an F'''ing idiot you are for not going in the theaters. Oh yeah and they say "bullocks" about a billion times and it never gets old.
