Hey man, I live in Perth and I have had a 360 since launch. Gears of War 1 seriously had the worst lag online if your playing on a USA host. That is why you narrow the search parameters down and join an Aussie host. Lag is always going to be around and has never been an issue with me. Certainly there have been games on Halo 3 which are a little frustrating but majority of the time if your with other Aussies, you will be hosting!

Ok i live on the gold coast (australia) and yeah basicly there all american hosts so we get lag most of the time unless ur on CoD4 or halo where u can find games alll the time that are australian and gta iv is just lag for everyone.

Yeah GTA 4, gears aswell as COD4 is what i wanna play. if an australian hosts is it lower latency?

Ok, this may have been bought up/asked before and im srry if it has...Basically i have a question to Xbox Live users.

Im a PC gamer and are looking into getting myself a xbox 360 mainly because of Gears 2 and because a few other friends are gonna get a 360 aswell.

I was wondering do u guys get lagg alot on gow 1 / other online games as there is no Australian servers?

I just wanna know if it's worth it or if im just going to be fustrated and let down, Thanks.

Solution to Video Streaming! V3 another post above mine on how to fix it i can watch them now i just installed lastest windows media player 9 (old one was bugged and wont uninstall) so i went in the the folder open install file again and installed ova old...
hey presto now i can view ......for now :
