There was nothing wrong with my 40gb. I think you just F-ed up your system bro. Need to learn how to take care of it.iCondemned
Please read my original post I only owned the system for a maximum time of 4 weeks and I only played games and movies on the system during this time. Also for those interested I keep a cover on my PS3 when not in use to prevent a build up of dust.
Your claims of labeling me a troll are completely ludicrous and unjustified. If your thoroughly read my post it clearly states I purchased my PS3 only recently in November, therefore it is reasonable that I have a low number of posts as I don't see the need to post in a game forum unless you own a game console. Your claims are unsubstantiated and frivolous at best, I reassure you that this is a legitimate post about a legitimate complaint.
After reading countless stories about how fantastic the reliability of the PS3 was I bought my first 40gig PS3 at the start of November. This system needed to be returned after 3 weeks due to a disc reading error whereby blue-ray and DVD disc where no longer recognized by the system. I had this faulty system replaced by another 40gig PS3, which lasted 4 weeks before, it received the same problem as the first defective system. Now on my 3rd 40gig PS3 my faith in the PS3's reliability is shattered. Is my experience with the 40gig PS3 an isolated issue or are there other people suffering similar reliability issues with this make and model of PS3?
Also for those interestedI purchased my PS3 in Australia.
This game is far from great! Within 3 hours of game play it has frozen on me twice and I even fell through the floor at one stage. This game is a half finished product and I would not recommend to anybody to purchase a half finished game.
