A few days ago I completed Halo 3: ODST and it was superb. I did not like it at all at the beginning, it was boring and I felt disorientated and the combat was just not fun. However when you get into it everything just works, the hub world of the Rookie is so atmospheric and they do a good job of making you feel relatively underpowered. The falshback levels though is where the game shines, the level design is fantastic and they are simply awesome. The campaign is a tad short but the atmosphere is so good and the storytelling was surprisingly great. Infact the story was very good.

Anyway XBOX Live. I have been given a free month by a generous friend who got it from a game but never used it seeing as he has the year subscription. I have been playing Halo multiplayer all evening and it is so good. I have played a lot of it in the past but only split screen really. The online is awesome, it gets so much right and it is super fun, the only annoyance is the lame death scream which gets very grating. I was surprised to see myself winning quite a lot (if not most) matches, the way that it builds you up and matchmakes you is really good, I thought the learning curve would be so far gone by now that it would be uselss joining in but I was very wrong.

So if you have XBOX Live and want to play some Halo multiplayer, or some ODST or Halo 3 co-op (I want to complete it on legendary) then add me, stephenage of course, and we will have a merry old time.
