[QUOTE="DJ_Lae"]Forza 3 by a long shot. I just went back to it tonight for a few races to make sure my impressions of GT5 weren't so sour. I've spent about 120 hours with Forza 3 and almost 30 hours in GT5 now. GT5 has some nice ideas and a surprisingly decent handling model, but everything else is one notch above garbage. The recent patch has helped a bit, but even the most basic of interface issues and streamlining are completely insane. Forza 3's entire interface is beautiful and quick - GT5's is convoluted and painfully slow. The most basic tasks become painful - Forza 3 shows you colour-coded boxes on the career mode indicating which events your current car can enter. GT5 requires you to enter extra menus to see which cars are required, which ones you have that are eligible, and god help if you if you have to go and buy a car because you have to remember what the specifics are and then manually check vehicles one by one. Forza 3 lets you search all cars (not just your garage) by pretty much any parameter. And then the racing itself. Handling is very comparable between the two games, with GT5 taking a slight edge for having a more raw feel with all the assists off. Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of the sense of grip, of which you have none (save the ear-piercing sound of nails on a chalkboard that they've substituted for tire squeals), and cheap tires are modeled horribly. There are more opponents in GT5, of course, but as they're so dumb I'm not sure if that's really an advantage or not, or the framerate drops that occur when everyone enters a corner at once and you get the close LOD models all at the same time. Forza 3 runs smoother, has no tearing, and no weird issues like GT5's incredibly low resolution effects buffers that gives the 8bit look to shadows and car edges when subjected to smoke/snow/rain. The rain effects in GT5 (while not present at all in Forza 3) are downright embarassing. Apparently no one thought to copy PGR4. And in terms of tuning and customization...again, Forza 3. There are more options for upgrades/tweaks (engine swaps, brakes, tire compound and tire width) and the tuning menu gives you actual parameters and not just Polyphony's dumbed down numerical systems. I'm not even going to mention more than 'painting' itself because GT5's disposable paint chip system is embarassing compared to Forza 3's limitless painting, let alone the decal editor and online store where you can buy other player's designs with in-game credits. The Nascar/rally/Top Gear additions to GT5 are also pretty lame, and aren't worth much more than the bullet points on the box. Top Gear events are wasted with the low power cars and joke events, Nascar is nightmare inducing thanks to Zombie Jeff Gordon (and the events are no more fun than turning a corner) and rally is severely underutilized...which is probably a good thing considering how bad the game's rendition of dirt and snow is.Blinblingthing
Wait a minute ,So where as GT5 in your eyes simulates driving better, has more content, You Picked Forza because of a better user interface, customization options and ran better?
Yea in forza 3 you can paint ur cars pretty colors Ha Ha Ha Ha!
Hmm well let me think ummmm well im going to have to give gt5 the edge over forza 3.
seems there are alot of tweaks in this patch, from headlights, to prize money increases
"I just have a quick run on "American Championship - Indy". The credit is increased from 98000 to 117000 now. The XP is still the same..." from gtp

Is that Indycars?
Is the iPhone good as a ps3?
[QUOTE="steve8198"][QUOTE="soulitane"] And that's suppose to make it the better game?soulitane
Plus it has way more stuff to do and it has rally raceing.
So if you think it's better because of all the content then do you agree that Halo Reach is better than all console shooters this gen? Same logic applied differently.I dont know i never tried halo reach.

Steve you might aswell give up xD.
Forza 3 is a better game 1.Its more critically acclaimed
2.It does what is says
3.It still is the better overall racing game between the 2.
4.It actually has a damage system THAT WORKS
5.None of this rehashed feeling nonsense.

Does it have B-spec?
