you guys ever though that maybe the reason you don't have some of the features that you ask for is because of Memory limitations? I mean could it be that they have to find a way to lower the memory footprint of the OS first in order to add said features? Thats just my guess. I don't see the use in complaing when most of the features we asked for we got them sooner or later so someone is listening to us. Just be patient. This update IMO was more of a was of intefrating the PSN inot the XMB and making it more convenient for you to spend your money to ensure that we have more updates in the futrue. Too much complaining only make you sound like a little brat. BTW could it be that the ugly grey bars and larger font size is so that things become more visible against the dynamic backgrounds? BTW im typing this on my PS3... something that was only possible due to a firmware update

I was reading an article over at PS3Fanboyhttp://www.ps3fanboy.com/2009/01/06/microsoft-expects-ps3-price-cut-soon-while-reeves-reiterates-pr/ When I started thinking *Is SONY waiting for Killzone 2 to drop the price on the PS3 and try to garner huge amounts of Hype with the new Price cut to drive console sales?* I'm no expert on marketing (or anything for that matter) but I just think if SONY always had a problem with marketing and never really had a great ad campaign for any of their blockbuster games. Why not kill 2 birds with one stone and use your ads to tell people about the new Low price and this new great game we have exclusively to the PS3. That's just my thoughts what do you guys think?
R2 hands down! This game consumes huge chunks of my time and it's the only game that I can play for hours with my friends. Everyone is also catching on the whole "you need a headset to play online games" thing too. Game is loads of fun I get a ton of friends invites every time I play this game. Get R2 Man you will love it. It's worth more than 60 buck IMO. It's three good games in one, the Co-op alone could have been it's own game.
Tell me about. last Friday my brother made a girl character on one of his accounts and he told me to join him. Man as soon as we stepped into the open square ( you know the open area where the pond and trees are) everyone one just gathered around him like "Hey" "sup" and all this crap. So I started laughing on my mic like "yo your sad trying to pic up girls in Home, that's a guy your talking to" then my brother would say something and then they would say something stupid like they were just saying Hi. I'm like so why didn't you say hi to me too... I'm standing right next to him
i have a 26 inch regza and i find that the game mode is a little too much contrast. i just play my ps3 on sports mode with lowered contrast and brightness. also i turn off the dynalight and put dynamic contrast to middle. after that bluray and ps3 games look amazing. i think its a great tv for the money.im_mr_brown
you my friend are truly confused the gaming mode has nothing to do with picture quality. It's only proccessing time. And your settings are all off. I would know because I calibrate TV's and I use hardware and software that cost as much as a few PS3s. a lot of those fancy things only screw up what the Developer or Director intended for you to see. My advise is first... turn of Dynalight, Dynamic Contrast and all the other things like DNR MPEG NR and turn down your Sharpness and buy a DVE Blu Ray and you will be amazed at what you see.
Well what I can tell you is that most new REGZA models have the game mode and if the one your looking at has the game mode it serves the same purpose as mine. I allows for a more acurate response time.
