my ps3 isnt reading ps3 games or bluray movies(obviously), but i can still play ps1 and ps2 games. I put in the game and the little circley thing rotates as it reads the disk but then it stops and im not given the option to play the game. is there anything i can do to fix this or take it somewhere?
If i take it apart myself in attempt to repair it, will sony accept it for whatever deals they have? I would do the youtube thing and just buy another ps3, but its also my brother's and hes really attached to it so...
I bought my ps3 in the winter of '07 and you know it was the awesome one that has all the features and it made me proud to own it since I wasnt too cheap to wait for a price drop that ended up not having bc. Well, anyway, im pretty sure my warranty has expired, but how would I know for sure? What are my options, can I fix it on my own some how or should I contact sony? If I send it to sony, will they repair and send me back the same system or a fixed used one? Can I get the same model if its not my original system? And Im curious, how many other people have had the same model ps3 ylod on them, because I thought these were virtually immune. I probably dont seem as distressed as many other ps3 owners are in my situation, but thats only because im not a gamaholic, and am simply awaiting Lil'bp2 to be released, and as we all know it wont be out for a few months. The bright side is I have time!
I seriously want a caterpie, for nostalgic reasons, preferably level 1 or slakoth level 1 because slaking's awesome, but i'm not very far in the game, platinum version. so I don't have much to offer, geodude and zubat.
it seems that each sony console had a new mascot, ps1 had crash and kratos seems to be the ps2's mascot. so im going to agree with TC that it's either sackboy or nathan drake, my vote's for drake
