@phoenix1289: And none of that is their employer's responsibility. How you choose to network yourself and such is your business. Maybe they need to hire managers or agents? There are plenty of options that don't require a company paying you for what is essentially your own free time. They are paying for the job done, nothing else.
@iandizion713: Noone is asking anyone to do anything for free. But people like you dont like to debate the facts. Twist and dodge is all you know. They are paid well for the minimal amount of actual work that they do. There are plenty of other people willing to do the job, as shown by the other 75% that are not part of this Union. Making yourself less appealing in a competitive industry will not get you more work.
@iandizion713: It's casual, contract work. It's not a full time job. They can easily make a decent living doing this on the side while still having another job. Your point proves mine. They are paid well for the amount of actual work that they do.
Time for Nintendo to License their games on other platforms. They've lost their way in the hardware business, but there's still huge demand for their software and IP.
@phoenix1289: So, what you are saying, is that they work very few hours and still make a decent living. Sounds like they also have plenty of time to go out and get another job too.
