@sammax: The most likely scenario is that he did actually reach the end game but they used the incorrect term here. There is no grand conspiracy lie. I hope you aren't too disappointed when you get your hands on the game for yourself.
VR has been out for a while now with Vive and Oculus, but since its release you hear virtually nothing about it. Seems like it was all hype. Sure, it 's cool tech, but I don't think it's practical or as transformative as people want to believe.
If you need to "explain" what your game is, then you've already failed. Maybe next time, don't recycle a old title and not expect people to try to connect the two. Also, your trailer should evoke the tone an feel of the game while showing gameplay. Nobody should be confused.
Less than a month until the movie is released. Time for the studio to start pumping out as y spoilers possible. Movie studios ruining the movie going experience.
