A club of fanboys named the Playstation Defense Force has been quite an amusing joke on IGN for a little while now, and they have now found their way to Gamespot. Their aim is to go to articles and "defend" the Playstation against people who like XBox. Prepare for the nonsense in Gamespot articles now. Just thought I'd share this with the XBox forum in case anyone wants a laugh. Here's the 1st post on Gamespot:
Nah, achievements/trophies are always the same. The Playstation version just has an extra trophy, the platinum trophy for obtaining all trophies. Achievements are almost always released first for some reason. The list looks pretty straightforward though just glancing through it. I don't really want to mess with the online though, but it might be interesting.SoNin360
MS doing dynamic achievements now on X1 (ie. adding achievements after the game launches) could mean we may well see different achievements/trophy conditions for multiplats on X1 Vs PS4
The description for the last hotfix/update says they INCREASED the drop rate for 61+. I've had quite a bit of luck lately farming bosses for legendarys. Being on a bad run of drops doesn't always mean they nerfed anything, it just means you're having a bad run...
It will work fine with any gold (3 months, 6, or 12) except trials. You can download the game, or even just start the download and cancel and it's yours forever even if you cancel gold later.
A feminist reviewing a GTA game. 'Nuff said. The entire review was a write off after that IMO. Since when was a GTA game about gender equality. It's about being offensive, and it does that well ;)
Same membership for both. Only reason you'd need a 2nd account is if you get 2 X1s. You can now also just have 1 Live Gold account for the Xbox One per console, meaning multiple accounts on the same console will share Gold features, as well as anything you've downloaded (DLC, digital games etc)
Ryse is one of my launch titles. I'm basing that entirely off the E3 trailer for it and ignoring any other media reports on it, I want to make up my mind for myself. I want to play a new next gen IP at launch, so I'm taking a punt on it. Worst case scenario if it's not great I'll have another 3.5 games (KI being the 1/2) at launch to keep me busy till Christmas when my wife knows games are the gift for me ;)
Apart from what everyone has been saying, if you don't have a PC to game on (Witcher one isn't on the 360), then you don't really have a choice to play the original (the situation I was in, can't game on PC/laptop due to RSI). So if that's you, take it from someone that did it, you will still enjoy the 2nd.
You don't need any knowledge of the 1st one to enjoy the 2nd. I never played the 1st one, with it being PC only, and took a punt on 2 because I heard good things. Loved it, did 3 playthroughs and the game pieces enough of the important information from the 1st game so you never feel you don't know what's going on.
