@adkcrazox: Do you own stock in either company? Why would you care about some rich person becoming more rich? That's weird. Do you brag to your friends about movie stars and which has the most money? Would their net worth make them better actors? I think the Rock made more than anyone last year and he's not a great actor.

@alaannn: It will be late, but all the mods are coming, starting with the Skyrim remaster. Then Fallout. Whatever beef between Sony/Bethesda has been resolved and if mods are your thing, your still getting them. Less than 20% of 360 games are playable on XB1. That's why I kept my 360 and PS3. Neither argument makes XB1 better. It's all about the games, and different people like different things.

@cfscorpio: I agree with some of what you're saying, but Japanese games are still popular to a good number of gamers in America and it absolutely is a fair point. If an American gamer likes JRPGs and/fighting games, well, PS4 is what you should buy, period. I'm not really into racing games, but that doesn't mean Forza shouldn't be recognized as the best racing game available on the market. It is. As an American i'd say it's not that even, but I want the Xbox to sell well and keep Sony on their toes. I like both systems and the more great games, the better, for me at least.

@quibit: Both companies do it. You give an inch, they take a mile. I use my PS4 a good bit more than my XB1, but that doesn't mean I don't like the system. Just a little more I like (at this moment) on PlayStation. Every generation this has been different though. I preferred the original Xbox over PS2. PS2 just had sooo many more games. I preferred the 360 over PS3 for a little more than half of last generation. The PS3 slowly fixed and tweaked things about the system and got the tools to developers to help them make better games on that stupid cell processor and I started to prefer that. I hold no allegiance to either company. I'm a Nintendo and SEGA fanboy, but that's where it ends. At the end of the day, we're best off when both companies are neck and neck. It will keep them on their toes and taking chances on new innovative things. I hope the Xbox continues to sell well and both make great games for us.

I finally got my power back. Matthew decided to flood everything around, and Rez has been waiting to load the entire time. It could be worse. I don't have any property damage, others have houses underwater, literally. I can wait a few more hours to play. It's actually the fourth time I've purchased Rez. I imported the Dreamcast version. Bought the PS2 and HD re-release on 360. Now, PS4.

@cboye18: I'll take that sequel any day and pay $60 again for no multiplayer. One of my favorite Platinum games (and there are a bunch).

@mjonk2pc: I also have an HDMI splitter, it works great, but what I am talking about is different. The box that comes with the VR acts as a splitter anyway. Sony made a recent statement specifically about HDR. If you want to utilize the HDR from the Pro, the system must be plugged directly into the television (or a splitter). If you use the VR, the system plugs into the VR box, then into the TV. With me? To use HDR in your games you must unplug from the box and plug to the TV (or splitter). With or without a splitter, you are plugging and unplugging unless you don't use or care about HDR. It does not work through the VR box.

@Terrorantula: I understand what your saying. The average person doesn't need to run out and spend the money for this, but for some, this is a new way to experience games. I'm with you as far as my personal wants with gaming right now. Later on, I think the sets will get smaller and the average user may enjoy this on a daily basis after a long day at work. It's still more for the hardcore tech enthusiasts now.

@Megavideogamer: They made a huge mistake with the pro in combination with VR. If you have the VR plugged in and want to play a regular game that utilizes HDR, you must unplug the VR and plug the pro directly to the TV. This must be done each time you switch between the two. If you don't have a 4K TV or do not care about playing a game with added HDR, your fine, but it seems a little weird to constantly switch HDMI cables depending on what your playing.

@ragethorn: I think it will stay on the hardcore side a bit longer. When the tech becomes ubiquitous, in the sense of tech and usability, it will become mainstream. Right now, the bulk of wires, while unavoidable, makes it hard to allow this to be a "living room" device for the average consumer. It will get better over time and more people will get on board. I think AR, like Microsofts HoloLens, will also become a mainstream tech, in time.
