@Terrorantula: That's kind of like saying you don't like video games because you have an Atari Jaguar. That's not the best example of the tech. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon, but it has evolved beyond your experience. I'm personally waiting a bit longer before I purchase one of the sets, but I think it could be bigger than 3D TV or the other gimmicky techs around.

@saturatedbutter: That's cool, I can't say it was a bad game. I played about a third of it and just stopped. I got bored, but believe me, a lot of people hate some of my favorite games. I hope it's good though. Too many goods games is a good problem to have.

I'm still curious if Mafia is going to be good or not. I'm sure it's good, but is it great? Kinda getting bored with most open world games (GTA style, that is) and I'm not feeling Watchdogs 2, especially after the first one. That Warhammer game looked cool. It's strange how picky I've gotten over the years. There are so many more games available now than ever before and I'm too busy worrying about the "next thing". It's probably because I have less time to play games compared to when I was younger. Anyway, who has tried PS VR? I know I want to play REZ infinite, but is it good? Worth the $400? Should I wait?

@olddadgamer: I can see that. Not sure if you played and or liked it, but Unitl Dawn, made me rethink some of my gaming biases. I loved it and had a blast playing with a group of friends--we would take turns on different chapters and play or watch like a movie. Truth is, I think a lot of movie genres could work in some way as a game. When I was a kid, I would stick up for full motion SEGA CD games. Not because they were any good (I can't remember a good one), but I always believed it was possible to make a good game in the medium. Technology blurs those lines and allows that level of believability. Now just imagine what VR or AR (Hololens shows tons of potential) will help deliver in the level of immersion. Watching a movie or playing a game like your there, experiencing it first hand. Really cool stuff.

Nah, action and sci-fi is so played out. These movies need AAA games made. Check it.

1. the English Patient. 2.Winters Bone. 3.Anything from M. Night Shamalahnanan 4. Meet Joe Black. 5. Tree of Life 6. Breakfast at Tiffanys. All of these should be developed by Platinum. Boom, just saved the video game industry. Your welcome.

I've been waiting for this. Forgot it came out Tuesday. Definitely downloading this tonight. Good, old school fun. Even though exclusives are almost nonexistent, I must say, I am very happy with the "new" 3ds. Ever since the 3ds launched and I traded in my DSi XL, I missed the size difference. I like my Vita, but I use the 3ds 10x more.

@MXVIII: When is that person going to speak? I own Bushido Blade and still play it from time to time. Square was taking some chances back then--I also really like Einhander. I don't think anyone would call the game realistic accept for the length of a sword duel. I'm not lost in some Hollywood BS mindset. You continue to argue the same nonsense claims. A large blunt weapon CAN be used as shielding. A katana or wakizashi is not going to go through armor. This is probably why the Japanese became the largest manufacturer of firearms shortly after they were introduced in Japan. Use the side of your blade to block or parry a large two handed sword? yeah, you know exactly what your talking about. Considering these warriors never met and are from completely different time periods, common sense will do you more good than what you think you know.

@MXVIII: dude, now your just looking stuff up on Wikipedia and not taking the game mechanics into account at all. Come on, you know what was meant from the beginning.

@MXVIII: ok, though what it is meant for and what it can do are different things. A large Viking axe or a knights broadsword can most definitely be used to block or parry another large weapon. A samurai sword on the other hand can not be used in a similar fashion, it would bend and become mostly useless. Most large medieval swords were not even sharp, they were heavy blunt weapons. I only brought it up because I found it awkward, but to each their own.

@deviltaz35: Defiantly, If I wanted a 4k bluray player or did not already have an Xbox1, hell yeah I'd buy the S. It is a good deal and even though I may sound like I'm siding with PS4, I really want both systems to sell about as close to equal as possible. I remember the Genesis vs SNES days when they were both selling well. I did not have the SNES at first, but I had friends that did and I had Genesis. The two companies were doing whatever they could to beat each other and this lead to us, the consumer, getting tons of great games. I like competition and it will keep the companies honest and get us the best games. Hell, I like my WiiU and wish it sold a lot better. It's a good console that unfortunately only has great first party games. Anyway, I like both systems--I do really like the power supply internal--and can't wait to see more great games.
