The cracks in the facade are starting to show the closer we get to release. Unfortunate, as I was very excited initially for this potential shift to console-less gaming.
@ClunkerSlim: While I will never not watch that video, he/she was referring to the update trailers specifically, not launch trailers. I will say that the previous 3 large updates have all delivered on their promises. A far cry from the launch trailers compared to game at launch.
Bungie with D1 and D2 remind me of Ubisoft with the Division - If it's an exploit, that's a top-priority patch, but any bugged hindrances on the player and it's "we're looking into this."
MGS is the video game equivalent of LCD Soundsystem or Radiohead. Rabid widespread fanbase that gushes about the genius of it all, but I just don't get it. Not hating, I legitimately just.don't.get it.
Side note: I am looking forward to stressing my girlfriend out with Dark Descent though, great game.
so if i read this correctly, those that did not pre-order will not be able to pre-load the beta before the open beta hits, and will have to download/install a 15GB file during the open beta period (over a potentially slow network speed)...
this is meant as a legitimate, unbiased, and purely curious question: when will this be a fully playable game, and not bits and pieces that are often broken or not fully cohesive in relation to the original premise?
