After comtemplating for more than a month about what kind of blog I should write,then yesterday I thought of taking a safe way out and writing my favourite games on all nintendo consoles.So here it is :-

1.Nintendo Entertainment System :- My favourite on this console has to be "Super Mario 3".Oh man,I remember those good old days when all I had to worry about was which notebook I should take to school tomorrow.I bought this game from Chicago in 1990,when I was just a little kid of 6 years of age.The princess was abducted by King Koopa (again!).But this time I had more weapons in my arsenel...but my favourite was Goomba's shoe and another favourite was the Tanooki Suit.What was yours?

2.Original Gameboy :- This was by far the most popular console in my household,with everyone from my sister to my mom being addicted to Tetris.So,Tetris has to be my favourite here.I did get a little bit angry whenever I lost the game after playing it for hours and hours.My little cousin sister used to think that you could play this forever and I guess to a certain extent that term does seem true.I don't remember my scores on it but frankly I was'nt fantastic on it.

3.Super Nintendo :-Regular people who read my blogs must already know that I fell that this the best console ever and with its endless fantastic games.But i would say my favourite game on this console and one of my all-time favourite was "Donkey Kong".I love this game so much that I had two different copies of it...one for my house and one when me and my family travelled.I also had a friend in my colony who would come daily during the summer break to play.We used to play this turn-by-turn or stage-by-stage,whichever came first.This was also my elder sister's favourite but she did'nt play with me like my friend used to,infact she would my turns saying that I distracted her or something.

4.Nintendo 64:- I still have this console and it works perfectely.As you may know that this was Ninti's last catraidge-based console.My favourite game on this was undoubtely "Golden Eye 007".I simply love this title and it remains my favourite FPS to this day.Rare really outdid themselves this time,they incorporated every thing from stealth to deathmatches.Something I hoped to only see on PC titles,but besides these thing the game was simply amazingly fun to play.My favourite character was "Oddjob" although his hat was quite irratating.I wish an FPS like this could come to the PS2.Revolutionary Game !

5.Gameboy Advance :- Although I still have only about 8 games on it,I still play it a lot.But ze favourite game on this has to be "Yoshi's Island"I know that this is an emulation of a Snes game but I never had this game until I bought the advance.I finished this game very long ago and I haven't played my advance since then,entirely because of my PSP.

6.Nintendo Gamecube :-Okay,I don't own this but I did spend about a month playing it.My favourite game on this console has to be "Resident Evil 4".Undoubtedly the best survival horror in a long long time and the best in the Resident Evil series.

7.Nintendo DS :- I'm getting a bit tired now so I'll make this short and sweet..."Metroid:Hunters",amazing game people.If you don't own this than please make your retailer happy and buy this title.

Okay,then that is it.Please don't flame me unnecceraily,but if you do think that there is something wrong with my list then I would apprecialte your comments.

I returned yesterday from my summer vacation in Bahrain.This is the 2nd time I went to Bahrain,coz it so peaceful and modern at the same time.Plus it's also the most liberal country in the Gulf.Enough of Bahrain,let me tell you what I bought...My very first day there and I bought Daxter for my PSP.Plus I must've bought about 10-15 Dvds.The movies I bought were Hustle & Flow,The talented Mr.Ripley,The Jerk,A fish called Wanda,Kiss Kiss Bang bang,Thomas Crown Affair,Young Frankenstein and The Maltese Falcon.I missed sitting on GS,which I really regret coz I wasn't able to check out the blogs of my close friends here especially Neojedi,LeenaParvin,Grambyte,Duff_manx,Syrinx61 and Fishdalf (Peace).
                       In any case great being back on GS,maybe i'll write one of my lists next week.

I thought up the premise of this list while playing some old SNES ports on my Gameboy Advance.I do believe that many of you will relate to the entries in this list.As with the last time,I'll be writing only the top 5 according to me.If many of you do comment that I should move onto other consoles from different generations,then write it along with your comments.So here it is,

1.Donkey Kong Country 1(Super Nintendo/Super Famicom) :-
This has to be my all time favourite game of this particular generation.Not only did it have impressive graphics and gameplay,but it also had some of the best music ever on a video game.Nowadays the games use the music without any cause i.e. it hardly ever matches with your situation.I found the water levels in this game that had the best tunes.

2.Streets of Rage(Sega Genesis/Megadrive) :-This game has one of the best situational music on the Sega Genesis.I remember going to my friends place to play this game,and come home humming the tunes the whole day.The game wasn't too shabby either.I chose Alex everytime and I must've beat the game with him a zillion times,which character did you choose ?

3.Sonic The Hedgehog(Sega Genesis/Megadrive) :-This game was the reason I bought the genesis.I remember playing the game till late in the night on a school day and getting a scolding from my mom.The music from the marble zone ie level 2 was what I considered the best.In my view,the sequels could'nt match either the great gameplay or the equally great music.

4.Killer Instinct(Super Nintendo/Super Famicom) :- This game was truly revolutionary for not only its graphics,but also
for its  music.My favourite character was Cinder coz he had the easiest combo to do.I usually beat the game in an hour or so everytime I sat to play it and I never got so bored.The music was very atmospheric and fitted the levels perfectly.The best round was Glacius's stage.I also bought Killer Instinct 64 on my next console.

5.Topgear(Super Nintendo/Super Famicom and Sega Genesis/Mega-Drive) :- One of my friends from my neighbourhood used to regularly play this game with me and it was one of the best racing games out there at the time.It's main reason for attraction were not only its graphics,though I would'nt call it revolutionary but the music was still in top shape.Especially those midnight levels had some really good tunes.I don't hink many people bought this game coz my retailer said that the copies availaible in his shop were lying there for quite a while.It's not much use in playing the game now,since there are tons of racing games that are way way better than this...but if you do want to feel notalgic,then take it out and plug it in coz it will be worth it.

Ok,there's the Top 5.Hope you liked what I wrote.I'll be waiting for comments eagerly.

I thought up this list yesterday when I saw that my last list became pretty popular among my friends,so I thought I'd treat them to another one of my lists.This only consists of those protagonists whose games debuted on the Playstation 2.So here it is :-

1.Carl Johnson aka CJ (Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas) :- He's probably the most fleshed character I've seen yet in the GTA series.I chose him to be the best because he was also undoubtedlty the most talented characters yet in gaming.He can fly planes,he can swim long distances,he can fight in three different styles + he is also the most notorious badass ever in any form of entertainment.I played san andreas for 6 long months,probably the longest game I've ever played(I normally beat games in 2-3 weeks).
Worst Mission That frustrating pilot mission in Las venturas is one of the most difficult I've ever faced.I could go and on about him,but I have to get to the 2nd place.

2.Wander and Argo(Shadow of the Colossus) :-My most favourite game last year was Shadow of the Colossus.I loved the game so much that I beat it twice,something I've never done on this platform.The only flaw was the camera and Wanders's incessant beating of Argo to get from point A to point B.He's probably the bravest guy in gaming.If it was me who had to face those colossi,I would've either peed in my pants or left the girl and run back to my village.
Worst Mission Colossus no.9 or the Turtle.He took me nearly a week to beat both time played the game.The thing would just refuse to sit on the geysers,so that...yada yada yada...I could stab my sword in his head.This was one mission I would've loved to skipped.

3.Kratos (God of War) :- He has to be one person that anyone would love to have on their side.The puzzles on this game astounded me with their intricate details.I was gladly helped by my friends and in particular my mom,who held me solve many a dozen riddles in this game.The graphics,especially the cut-scenes,were the best I've seen on this console.If any of you have not played it,I suggest you go to your retailer and buy one today.
Worst mission :- Those stupid three headed dogs.You kill one and two of them would spawn right away.I broke my L2 button on my controller because of this mission.

4.Dante (Devil May Cry Series) :-He is one the funniest action characters on the PS2.I don't hink much of the graphics,but it's only because of him that I bought all three of them.The 2nd one was crap and the 3rd installment is extremely hard to play.Infact the 1st game is the only one i actually beat.
Wost Mission Every single mission in DMC 3 is so hard,that I have to put every mission here.Not a bad game but a little bit too unbeatable.

5.Leon (Resident Evil 4) :-He sure gives me a strong reason to keep buying the RE series.I finished the game quite fast ( in a week).By the end of every day,I would be so tired as though I had been at work slogging all day.I played this game during my winter vacation,none of my friends were in town and I had ample time and no disractions at all.Probably the best survival horror ever,although I would put it in the survival category since I did'nt really find it scary.I especially like Ashley's comments when Leon peeked into her skirt."Oh you pervert" said Ashley.Leon replied,"I can't help it,I've been skimming zombies for you and you won't give me a peek."Ashley replied,"I'll tell daddy if you do it again."Sorry just had to do it.
Worst Mission The high tension scene when all the villagers come to atack you from everywhere into that little house in the middle of nowhere.I beat them by climbing the stairs and killing them one by one.

My Favourite character would've been Solid Snake,but since he debuted on the MSX a long time ago but came into his own on the PSone,I did'nt put him here otherwise he would've been no.1.I just wanted to write till 5 and maybe I'll continue the list till no.10,depending on your response.

If you have read my profile,then you would've seen that I have most of all the consoles (i.e home) of every generation.I'm not being egoistical,but in my boredom I thought of this list.Hope you like it :-

1.Super Nintendo :- I do believe that the SNES was the best gaming console I ever owned.I bought it quite late,in 1993.I bought it from the Frankfurt Intl. Airport in july.I must've accumalated about 50 games for it,and there were seldom any that I did'nt like.I lost it last year,and have been trying to find one ever since.

2.Playstation 2 :- This console has really helped in making many people in my family believe that gaming is not only for kids.I got this in 2002,right after I turned 18 years old.I was the first among my friends to buy one.One of my similarly gaming fanatic friend decided to buy one after seeing GTA 3 on it.My love for games have since taken over much of my night.If I'm not out for a party or something,you would see me trying to beat some game.

3.Nintendo 64 :- I was astounded with the details and graphics when I bought this console way back in 1997.My first favourite game on it was Goldeneye 64,which is not a surprise since I have many peers here who believe the same way.Others games were Super Mario 64,Zelda:Ocarina of time and Diddy Kong Racing.

4.Gameboy :- My aunt bought this for my sister way back in 1989,when I was just 5 years old.I was particularly addicted to Super Mario Land,Home Alone and Ducktales.I still have it and it still runs perfectly.I bought the new GB Adv. last year after I was just too bored with seeing to much of Black and White.

5.Sega Genesis :- Borrowed from a friend who never took it back.I bought some games for it,but I was never too close to it since I had a superior SNES.Particular favourites include Sonic,Streets of Rage,Crude Busters and Moonwalker (I know its cheesy,but I still liked it).

6.NES :- Bought this on my first trip to Singapore and Thailand in 1987.Since I was pretty young when I bought it,I did'nt start playing it till maybe 1990.Particular favourites include Super Mario,Metriod,TMNT and Zelda.

7.Sony PSOne :- Bought it in 1999,when the PS2 was nearly a year away.I bought more games for this console than any other before that,but I still favoured N64 over it.Particular Favourites include Quake 2,MGS(most favourite),Tomb Raider etc.Ok I may have many favourites but I was still bit partial to N64.

8.Sega Dreamcast :-Bought it as soon as it came out.Then my brother came from Chicago,and he took it saying,"I'll give it back,when I come to visit you next."That next visit came in 2005,5 years after he had borrowed it.Well,it still works fine and I played shenmue on it for a month before it broke down on me.Now it's buried in my backyard,the tombstone reads,"Something that was mine,but was never meant to be."

Too Soon To Tell -

1.Sony Playstation Portable :- Like it's written above,it's just too soon to tell.I have just two games on it,GTA:LCS and Ridge Racer.I will most probably buy Daxter next,then we will see if it figures in my above list.

Worst consoles -

1.Atari 2600 :- My sis bought it from Chicago when I was still an embryo.Did'nt get to play it even when I was older.I still have it and it still works.I recently plugged it in and it sucked big time and that's why its in this list.No favourites at all.

2.Xbox :- Many of you may flame me for this but I don't like it one bit.All the games are ports of PS2 games and the controller sucks big time.You need to be a mountain gorilla controller to play on it.And,since I don't favour FPS games...so I show no partiality to Halo or Halo 2.It's okay,but I would take Half Life any time.

Well,that concludes it...tell me what you think.I prepared this list particularly for my friends here on GS.

Yes,I bought a copy of Grandma's Boy yesterday.And I don't think I have to mention just how funny the movie is,I think it's the best comedy in years.It's a shame it didn't do as well in theaters :(.But I think that the DVD sales will make up for it.Anyways I won't leave any spoilers,but I really recommend atleast one viewing of the film.

I checked online to see that I had reached level 15.Well,I'm happy coz you don't get to change a level so easily and considering I was suspended and modded for no god damn reason when I was the ring king.Seriously,I felt as though I would be stuck on level 14 for a few months.Anyways,as nobunaga says,"Be ruthless - your rivals will be".Until,I'm level 15,that's going to be my motto.Plus I also see that I did'nt get any of the emblems for tuning into their live coverage of PS3,Wii and 360.That sucks !

I was supposed to buy a present for my friend's birthday(which is later in this month) and I ended buying a few DVD's for myself.The movies are :-
1.Lord of War

2.Flightplan

3.Snatch

and finally,4.Half Baked


I wanted Half baked and Snatch for a long time and I finally found these movies in my neighbourhood mall.Lord of War was highly recommended by many of my friends and I wasn't dissapointed,it's excellent.My Dad wanted to see Flightplan,so I bought that one too.It's good,but not LOW good.Anyways,if you haven't seen any of these movies,I really really recommend atleast one viewing.

I got moderated just for saying that "Wii sounds stupid".I mean is this really offensive that I had to be moderated.A few weeks ago I was suspended for 2 days for something that I did'nt even do.They should really check what we have posted before moderating us.
In other news,I bought Tomb Raider:Legends and The new Outrun.Tomb Raider is hands down Lara's best adventure yet.And,Eidos removed those irratating controls from their last game.Outrun is pretty cool too,especially for me since it made me feel nostalgic about the 80's when you got the best games only in arcades.The old outrun was one of the coolest games in the 80's,mostly because of the music and the humour.I got the old one too last year when I bought "Sega Classics".Now if only I could get SNES games on the PS2.I still miss my SNES,my dad lost it last year when he was cleaning our storage.Well  s*** happens.

See,the thing is that I'm a very honest about my feelings.But every new blog that I post,I get decreasing no. of comments with each of them.But I'm not saying that I'm gonna quit Gamespot coz quitting is not a word in my language.People who I do regard highly as my GS buddies are NeoJedi,Duff_manx,Zeeton_red,LeenaPravin,Zux2000,Grambyte,
Buccaneers445,Soadrock2,LordSaddler2000,Ruff_edgz and Madman608.Aside from these people,I would like to see more people to write what they think about my thoughts coz I like reading what people have to say about something that I have written.
