Do a system restore if you have a backup and also backup your important files. It's much better to do this in my opinion because your computer will be like the first day you turned it on. It's also recommended to do this every year.
Services like steam are really helping pc game sales. I have pirated games before, but honestly I hated doing it. It's such a hazzel and sometimes games wouldn't work or I would run in to problems in the middle of the game. I much prefer to pay for a game and have a good service, that's why I really like steam and specially with the special sales they have, there shouldn't be an excuse to pirate a game for those who have this service. Steam is the equivalent of Itunes in games.
Since some game publishers believe the number of a pirated game equals the number of sales they have lost, do you believe people who pirate a game would have actually bought it?
I think it doesn't matter because no matter how good pc games sell, they will never outsell console sales because consoles have become mainstream, thus more consumers, more sales and more interest in them from game publishers.
It does anger me because the games are already 60 dollars and it stops some developers from taking advantage of the blue ray. Also I believe it takes away the quality of the content and creativity when developers are already thinking about the dlc when they haven't even finished development. There are many games released with alot of bugs, yet they still sell for 60 dollars and developers use the excuse that bugs will be sorted out with a dlc.
