don't go there. 2 analog signals mixed into 1 signal can cause them sort of neutralize each other at times. secondly, i believe that second adapter is just combining 2 mono plugs to a 1 stereo plug. wouldn't even work in a mic jack.

your best choice would be using a software wich allows you to mix 2 different inputs (or 3, one being your game) into 1 master signal. any simple recording software should be able to do that.

What exactly are you trying to do, record gameplay with a commentary or something?

I wouldn't have thought I'd need to buy any hardware. I thought it'd be a software thing.

Any decent recording program should be able to record 2 tracks at one time using 2 different inputs, what program are you using?Nick3306

It's something called OBS. It's for recording footage off my monitor.

I'm trying to record something on a specific program, but sadly it seems to only be able to allow one active microphone at a time, and I require two. Is there any way that I can, so to say, link two microphones together so they're recognised as just one in the recording devices panel?

One's a USB microphone and the other is part of a headset that plugs into the microphone port on the front panel. I'm using Windows 7 with Realktek HD Audio Manager.

When I was younger I watched a few that scraed me. Now I don't find any of them scary. I've boiled every scene down to a point where I know when every jump will occur.

It's quite, and eery. The person is looking for what ever mosnter the film has. And just as the person takes a brief of relief as they realise it's not around, it jumps out. Things like that are just so predictable now.

My current IP address is 192.168.1.3 (it changes almost every time I restart my PC however) and I type in 192.168.1.1 to get onto the router page. If that's what you mean. I've tried 255.255.0.0 and it still gives me the same error saying the Subnet Mask doesn't match the IP Address. Everything else is the same as I was told to type in from a previous post.

Then what subnet did you put in for your Destination IP?

If you were putting in 0.0.0.0 for the DIP, then you will need to set the subnet mask to 0.0.0.0 for the DSM.

If that doesn't work try putting in the actual IP address and subnet mask for the destination.  Look at what the router's gateway IP address is set to (this will be the destination ip address).  This is different from your computer's gateway since that will be set to your router.

Ok. So this is everything I've typed in. And the error I recieve.

I still get the same error no matter what I put in the DIP or DSM. I've also tried the Subnet Mask as 255.255.0.0 and I still get the error. Almost any other number it just says "Invalid Mask".

When I enter 192.168.X.X as the subnet it just says it's invalid.
