My last xbox officially died and I bought an elite this week. Everything seems fine with the exception of netflix. Netflix seems to be running incredibly slow or just not running at all. The last 2 days it hasnt really streamed anything due to the connection being too slow. I rarely used to have this problem on the pro and ive checked the network live test and its all running smooth (as well as the redownload of my XBLA games). I am using the wifi adapter. Is anyone having a similar problem? or is it just me?

I just bough a used PSP from Gamestop a few days ago along with final fantasy VII: crisis core. Now being its the only game I have, I have one worry and its the load times. I would like to know if CC has load times over 8 seconds long.I'm starting to think its the PSP. I get long load times when the game boots up. Before battles start sometimes Zack stands there for a good 5-8 seconds before i actually get control and then there are the summons battles which i have not enjoyed much due to the fact every time a summon is about to do its special it takes about 10+secs before the cinema. One last thing these extended load times also happen onwhenever a mission is about to start and when it ends.

I worry because I have not heard anywhere that the game has really lonng and frequent loading times.

Anyways ill appreciate if someone gets back to me on this.

Hey, first of all I will say I read the forums from time to time but I'm not extremely active in them so I hope there is not much flaming here.

So I got a xbox 360 about a year ago but sadly I wasn't able to play it sense about 3 months ago (at least not seriously) and my game acquisition has increased exponentially (haven't beat a lot of them but I'm having a lot of fun). So the only problem im having is a lot of these games rely on you actually having some good friends and cool people to play with and sadly I don't have many. The other problem is some of the matchmaking in these game refresh the groups a lot which doesn't give me enough time to actually make any friends.

So what I'd like to ask is where would be a good place to look for gamers interested in looking for friends(especially around their game level)?

the online games i currently own are the following
Halo 3 (looking for people around my level if possible 1-7, also someone interested in trying out the harder modes of the campaign)(I'm level 2 )

Call of Duty 4 (Im not too good at it but it would be more fun to play with friends)

Team Fortress 2 (I love this game, I hate the fact a lot of people don't play as an actual team)

Rockband (I play drums on medium)

Anyways some input would be great ,happy gaming!

Dont they give high scores to every game?

Though i wouldnt doubt bioshock getting anything below a 9 though.

I could play water polo game all year...geeze EA!But who cares moving on, as if we didn't get enough crappy titles we get to have Bioshock and Two worlds as an exclusive I mean come on! We don't need another shooter much less one with stories it just bores the player to death and besides underwater is not cool!! And two worlds!? Where is the second world? the only planet that is cool is mars and thats it! Ask Nasa! Then We have yet another exclusive (sigh) So we just HAVE to play this? Blue Dragon by the creator of a game no one ever played final...uhh.. screw it who cares! Oh yeah Dynasty Warriors: Gundam comes out that week, pfft giant robots , can you belive this? No one ever liked giant robots or Gundam! Then to top of this list we also get Medal Of Honor:Airborne just give me a damn plane not a gun!

So I Stopped for a second and though well maybe there is a good racing game coming out but NO! theres none we barely get any, project gotham racing 4 and fatal inertia shouldn't even called games come on! So no racing,nope,zero,nada. But then we get another exclusive,yey, more stuff microsoft has to shove at us, which none of us will play. Eternal Sonata, I mean who even plays RPGs anymore, the game ain't even pretty!! And Warriors Orochi I wont even talk about that game!

Now shortly after it comes Halo 3 that game no one ever cared about, you'd have to think how companies can even make sequels of low ****games like Halo! I'm impressed this thing gets sequels! Oh and the makers of blue dragon want to give us more exclusives, RPGs that would make your mother cry like Lost Oddysey about a guy stupid enough to use a sword instead of a gun. News flash sword fighting ain't cool get with the program we use guns now! Or...slingshots,whatever! We also get half-life 2 again...sigh. So what else do I find on my list on this crappy morning, a game from PS which is now a xbox exclusive! Beautiful Katamari! We don't need you and your stupid ball of super glue!!! Get of my damn yard and game console! But thats not the only game moving to xbox noooooooooo, Ace Combat 6 as well, so yeah we finally get a washed up genre with an online multi player, which it DON'T NEED. This wont be any fun!

Then later we get guitar hero and rockband , why? I dunno, no one listens to music anyway. Oh and Mass effect also comes out, hahaha mass effect what a stupid name! Now to finish my rant Call of duty 4,bladestorm,Mercenaries 2 ,army of two,NOONE NEEDS ANY OF YOU!! Noone will buy you!!

Special mention to Assassins's creed for having its main character wear a color which is not cool at all!
Sigh its not a good holiday to be a gamer...Ill go back to sleep....
