How can adding some extra storage space result in hacks? Anyways thanks for the tip. I'm still hoping that I can do it, but I'm starting to believe, the more that I look it up, that I can't.
My friend is giving me his Xbox 360 Arcade. I have never owned a xbox and I know that basically the arcade version doesn't have any hard drive. I have a 60 gig laptop harddrive that isn't being used for anything and was wondering if it's possible to install it into the 360 kind of like the Playstation 3 allows you to swap them out. I have read a little bit about this and I am concerned that if I do this I would be banned from using the xbox or using the xbox live.
The main reason why I want to do this is because if there is any game data that needs to be installed the memory card won't be able to handle it. I also understand that the official Harddrives are grossly overpriced.
There are only a few games that I really want to play like Gears of War 1 and 2 and Mass Effect 1 and 2, plus I'd like to get Alan Wake when it comes out.
If there are any suggestions that people have I would be very appreciative.
