Level 11- Atomic Punk!

Atomic Punk (released as Bomber Boy in Japan and as Dynablaster in Europe) is a video game released for the Game Boy in 1991 by Hudson Soft and licensed by Nintendo, as part of the Bomberman series. It was the first game of the series to be released on the Game Boy.

There are three modes of gameplay in Atomic Punk, including two single player modes and one multiplayer game mode.

Hey! I'm not a punk!

Level 10- Phoenix Down

The "Phoenix Down" (also translated as "Phoenix Tail") is used in all Final Fantasy games to revive an unconscious party member with a small portion of their HP.  Phoenix Down often instantly kills or inflicts maximum damage on undead and other creatures harmed by curative spells. The item is supposed to be the feather of a Phoenix, a common symbol of life and rebirth; "down" refers to the down feathers of a bird, the undercoat of feathers beneath the visible layer on top.

Cool, my favorite bird!

More Halo 3 Info

I just saw some info on Halo 3 from Wikipedia.com, but these were the ones I were interested in:

In the November 11 Bungie Weekly Update, it has been stated that due to a "significant chunk" of Halo 2 players being female, there might be an option to have a female voice for the Spartan character in multiplayer.

The game will feature the ability to record and send video clips via Xbox Live at any time, making Halo machinima even easier for users. Hosts will now be able to "advertise" their custom games via Xbox Live Public; players no longer need to adhere to pre-made Matchmaking playlists because they can simply join a custom game hosted by another player.

EGM, Swedish magazine Level and the UK Official Xbox Magazine released screenshots of Halo 3 in action, featuring the Mongoose ATV in use in a CTF game. The magazine also included screenshots of three different multiplayer maps: High Ground, Valhalla, and Snowbound as well as the revelation of three new weapons. The Spiker is the new weapon of choice for the Brutes, as well as the Spike Grenade, and Spartans get a new "anti-vehicular" shoulder-mounted laser gun. They also described a new map-based element called a "Man Cannon," a launch pad that would be capable of flinging objects -- and players -- from one side of the map to the other (similar to the "jumping pad" on the far side of the map "Ascension" in Halo 2).

All these things sound cool, even the girl voice thing. Can't wait for Halo 3 to come out

Level 9- Ikari Warrior

Ikari Warriors is a 1986 arcade game by SNK (manufactured in the United States by Tradewest). Known simply as 怒 (Ikari, literally "anger") in Japan, this was SNK's first major breakthrough US release and became something of a classic. The game was released at the time when there were many Commando clones on the market. What made Ikari Warriors instantly distinct, were rotary joysticks and the possibility for two player to play simultaneously.

The player (or players) takes the role of a commando-like warrior, who must try to reach the village of Ikari. Enemy units attempting to kill the player include tanks, enemy soldiers and helicopters. A number of power-ups along the way help the player to achieve victory.

The player begins as one of two commando-type warriors, garbed in red (Ralf) or blue (Clark) (depending on whether they are player one or two). They must proceed from the bottom of the screen upwards, towards the village of Ikari. Trying to prevent them from reaching the village are enemy soldiers and other units with a frightening arsenal of firepower.

Yeah, I'm an Ikari Warrior now, so I have guns! Yay! :P

Halo 3 Info

Just picked up some new info on Halo 3:

 "Et tu, Brute?" Video Documentary

The "Et tu, Brute?" ViDoc (a portmanteau of video documentary), released on December 20, at 2 AM PST, shows how the Brutes have changed for Halo 3. They have been remodeled, reanimated, and completely redesigned. Bungie clarified that none of the graphics shown in the ViDoc are final, and some elements may be completely redesigned before launch.

The video explains that the three classes of Brutes have been differentiated, much like Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 featured different classes of Elites, Grunts, and Jackals. There are 'standard' infantry Brutes, Brute Captains and the Brute Chieftain. All are shown with much heavier armor than those in Halo 2. The Minor Brutes don blue ancient-like armor held together by buckles of some sort, and seem to favor the Brute Spiker. The Captains and Chieftains have more elaborate helmets and, in the case of the Chieftains, larger shoulder pads as well. To reflect the Brutes' violent nature, some new moves have been created. Examples shown in the ViDoc include a Brute ripping out the arms of a UNSC Marine, a Brute ramming a Marine into a bus behind him as he turns the corner, another jamming both its fists into a lying Marine's stomach, as well as several others.

The AI has also been updated to reflect the idea of a Brute pack. A Chieftain in Halo 3 may order all of its troops to throw grenades at the enemy together, or they may suddenly decide to gang up on one particular person.

The film also includes many previously unseen elements, such as dual-wielding Energy Swords and what seems to be a new, different grenade. Early play tests have shown these grenades to be spiked and possess the ability to stick to walls using their spikes. The Brute Chieftain is also seen carrying an undeployed plasma cannon. However, as previously mentioned above, the graphics and game elements in the film are preliminary at best, and they are still currently unconfirmed for inclusion in the final cut of the game.

Other confirmed facts

The matchmaking system from Halo 2 will be revamped. Call signs will be used instead of small HUD emblems to identify allies. Also, Halo 3's matchmaking system will be based on two different ranks, skill and experience, in order to make the system more fair and to reflect the effect of experience on players' profiles.

Bungie has confirmed the following basic plot points as revealed through the teaser trailer: Master Chief is back on a thoroughly conquered and Covenant controlled Earth. Cortana is still a prisoner of Gravemind. Finally, the Covenant ships are hovering over an excavation site only a few miles from New Mombasa.

With the release of the trailer Bungie has declared publicly that Gravemind, who originally appeared midway through Halo 2, is an intelligence of Flood origin.

Although Halo 3 was planned to end the Halo series, future Halo games haven't been entirely ruled out. On the Halo 3 FAQ from the official Bungie website it says, "Q: Is this the last ever Halo game? A: It is the conclusion to this story arc." This refers to the two announced games in the Halo universe, including the new Halo Wars by Ensemble Studios.

Bungie has also stated that they have redesigned the UI (user interface) from Halo 2 apparently making it easier to generate a custom game in Halo 3 multiplayer.

Hosts will now be able to "advertise" their custom games via Xbox LIVE Public; players no longer need to adhere to pre-made Matchmaking playlists because they can simply join a custom game hosted by another player.

When a player is carrying a second weapon in Halo 3, the secondary weapon will be stored on the character's back or leg holster, depending on the size of the weapon.

The game will feature the ability to record and send video clips via Xbox Live at any time, making Halo machinima even easier for users.

In the November 11 Bungie Weekly Update, it has been stated that due to a "significant chunk" of Halo 2 players being female, there might be an option to have a female voice for the Spartan character in multiplayer.

Actress Julie Benz is not voicing Miranda Keyes for Halo 3.

I got this information from www. wikipedia .com (without the spaces)

Games of '07

The 360 games I'm looking forward to in 2007 are: Lost Planet, Army of Two, Mass Effect, Two Worlds, and Halo 3. What are you people looking forward to?

Finally!

I finally got my 360! I got it two weeks ago. It took me so long to post because I had forgot to because I kept playing my 360 so much, I just forgot about Gamspot. The games I have for it right now are Fight Night 2004, Halo 2, Madden 06, Dead or Alive 4, and Project Gotham Racing 3. I'm looking forward to Lost Planet when it comes out and you'll find me online in a week or so. Go 360!

Level 8-Quad Damage!

The Quad damage is a powerup in the first-person shooter computer game series Quake. In Quake the Quad damage is a floating arcane rune that resembles the letter 'Q', as a crescent with a spike through it. It is the logo of the game, and in the game it is bluish-purple. When picked up by a player, it quadruples the damage caused by every weapon the player uses for thirty seconds. The splash damage radius of explosive items such as the grenade and the rocket are not affected, but within the radius, the damage is quadrupled accordingly. This can make it potentially dangerous to the player wielding it, since minor splash damage can become lethal.

RUN AWAY!!! He has quad damage! AAAAAAHHHHH!

Level 7-Sectoid!

The Sectoids are a fictional race of extraterrestrial beings featuring in the DOS/Windows game series X-COM.

Sectoids are typically the first aliens the player encounters and among the easiest to kill. Sectoids are typically armed with standard alien weaponry and while Sectoid Soldiers have no special abilities, Sectoid Leaders and Sectoid Commanders can have psionic abilities. Sectoids are neither particularly resistant or vulnerable to any specific form of attack. When the player encounters Sectoids on Terror missions, base attacks or at large UFOs they are usually accompanied by at least one Cyberdisc.
