Home was fine as far as I'm concerned. I was displeased with the variety of facial hair. I mean c'mon...they've got a Mario mustache, a biker gang member's handlebar stache, but no goatee? No full beard? C'mon...
Outside of that, it's fine. Walking through the mall is kind of cool, and as it's a free service, I didn't expect anything but extensive advertising. I actually got to play chess on the 2nd floor and had a great game going for about an hour and a half until I got disconnected...which sucked.
I heard people talking about bowling, but I don't know where it is. Where's the bowling alley? The only suggestion I could offer for the casual games is if there was sort of a lobby system instead of actually having to wait for somebody to finish a game of chess...it takes a long time if they really know what they're doing. You know, like go to the chess tables and click to sit down at a perpetually open seat and wait for somebody else to do the same. That'd be nice.
The harbour studio is cool, but you can't bring people over? What's the point of decorating a place that other people can't see? And i'm supposed to pay real money for virtual stuff? I think not. I guess the marginal value of 3 or 4 dollars for different clothes and items is subjective, but that's at least a movie rental on PSN, so I'll pass on the extras.
