Make sure that your PS3 is set for a Wireless Conncection and is not on Wired. Then give it a go again. If it is set up correctly, try setting up the PS3's network using a wired connection and then after connecting, switch it to wireless.joseph_mach

I set up a wired connection and made an account and went back to trying wireless and it still doesn't work. I don't get it.

I tried to look for a previous topic on this problem, but couldn't find anything.

I just bought the 80gb Metal Gear Solid bundle PS3 today and starting setting up the Wireless Settings. I found my network, and put in the password and such then put the rest of the settings, such as IP Address to "Automatic". But when I got to the part of testing the connection and it just says "Failed". I tried doing "Automatic" then also tried putting in the IP Address manually but it still failed. Is this supposed to happen? Has anyone else had this problem before, if so, how did you solve it? Thanks.

I'm planning on buying a PS3 and I have some questions. Now that a new 80gb is replacing the current 40gb model, is the previous 80gb model going to be discontinued? Plus, is this ( http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Metal-Gear-Solid-Pack-3/dp/B0014WJ78E/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1219115225&sr=8-1 ) the only 80gb model that is available that has backwards compatibility? Or am I wrong that this model has backwards compatibility in the first place?

Do you guys recommend getting the $499 80gb model over the $399 80gb model for the sake of backwards-compatibility? I already have a PS2, so is it really needed, or does it just make it easier to just bring one system around? Thanks.

they did accept for Tales of Vesperia. Anywho, I find it sad that Disgaea 3 for ps3 has DS graphics. Nobody here seems to bother with it though? How come?

I don't wanna sound annoying, but does anyone know where it was announced that Infinite Undiscovery and Star Ocean 4 are coming to the PS3 also? It's just that I really wanna know cause I'm still debating if I should get a PS3 or 360, cause if they are really coming to PS3 that would make me lean a lot more towards the PS3.
