Agrabah

A portal opens up and Kaze shoots out of it, sliding to a stop. He accidently falls off and his Glider smashes into a wall, turning back into a Keyblade. He rubs his sore head and walks over to pick it up

Kaze: I guess I need a little more practice. Where am I now? It looks like some kind of desert. I'm not sure I like the sunlight in this world. Back on the Islands it was peaceful and calming, this just feels hot.

He walks ahead and hears screaming. He stops in surprise as a ton of Minusouls appear He draws his Keyblades, but they seem to ignore him and move towards the center of town. He growls and jumps in front of them

Several Twilights charge at him as he cuts them up without moving. Cacti appear and begin shooting needles at him as he casts Fire magic to burn up the needles. He then dashes forward and cuts through both of the Minusouls. Cleaves and Treasured appear along with a new variety [Pillagers]. Cleaves slash at him as he blocks their slashes, only for a Treasured to rush in and tackle him. Pillagers begin taking out bombs for a sack and throw them at Kaze, blowing up and sending him flying. He hits the wall hard and slides to the ground. A Cleaver rushes at him and slashes at him as he blocks with his Keyblade. He then casts Fire magic and burns up the Cleaver. Another Treasured appears and shoots out diamonds and gold bars at him as he blocks with his Keyblade. He then slashes through them and destroys them. Once they are all gone, he hears screaming again and turns around towards the town square

Kaze: What's going on in there?

He runs ahead and sees several shopkeepers chasing after a man wearing blue robes. They throw weapons at him as he leaps on top of the shop stalls and keeps running.

Shopkeeper: Get back here you filthy street rat! I'll get the palace guards on you!

Kaze: Is that guy a thief?

As he is running on rooftops, several Minusouls appear and surround him. The man looks surprised and takes a step back. Kaze looks shocked as they lunge towards the man as Kaze throws Solar Dawn in an arc and it lands on a Minusoul, destroying it with a fireball. He runs and jumps off a shop stall in get in front of the man.

???: What are you doing?

Kaze: I don't know what's going on, but you better get out of here! I'll take care of these things!

???: …I will not forget this

He leaps across rooftops

Shopkeeper: He's getting away!

Shopkeeper 2: After him!

They run into the road after him as Kaze stays behind to fight the Minusouls. Pillagers begin to throw bombs at him as he hits them back and they blow up in front of them. He begins to cast Blizzard magic and freezes a few of them before smashing through the sculptures. Several Watchers appear and shoot fireballs at him as he dodge rolls away. He slides his hand down his Keyblade and triggers D- Link, using Elox's power. He begins to fire Blizzard and Thunder arrows at the enemy, chain blowing up a few of them. He uses Jumba's power and rolls around as a light sphere, bowling over the Minusouls in his way. Tikis appear and begin spitting out flamethrowers at him and burns away at the roof around him. He blocks with his Keyblade and rushes forward, cutting up Minusouls. A handful of Reflectors appear and reflect sunlight, trying to burn away at him. He holds out both his Keyblades and blocks the sunlight, throwing his Keyblades forward and slicing them apart. He finishes off all the Minusouls and makes his Keyblades vanish. He looks around and sees no one around.

Kaze: The square is completely empty. Did they go chase after that criminal? Hm…the Minusouls were going after him too. I think I should find this guy and talk to him personally. First I'll gather some information around town

He jumps down off the rooftop and does some looking around. He runs across the sand, slashing at any Minusouls that come at him. He runs into the gate near the palace gates and slows to a stop, hiding behind a stone pillar as two guards stand there

Guard 1: Do we have to stand here?

Guard 2: You know what Jafar said. He wants us to be on guard at all times in case that street rat comes here and hurts princess Jasmine.

Guard 1: I don't see the big deal. He's just a common thief. Is he really someone we should be concerned about? Besides, we both know Jafar just wants to earn the Sultan's trust.

Guard 2: Sh! He could be listening right now!

Guard 1: Oh please. Everyone in the palace knows he's heading the search for the street rat

Kaze: So this Jafar guy is looking for the street rat. I find Jafar, I find that guy.

Guard 2: Don't know where this guy could be hiding. Nearly every area of Agrabah has already been thoroughly combed. Except of course the city limits

Kaze: Bingo.

He leaves the area and starts running. Minusouls appear and bar his path, including a new variety [Jar Beetles] and they scuttle towards him. He casts Aero magic and blasts several into the air and leaps up after them, slashing them up. A Jar Beetle tackles him into a wall as he kicks it off and hacks through it. He uses D- Link and copies Hercules's power, knocking away Minusouls with incredible strength. He keeps running and makes it to the slums of the city. He looks around and sees a bunch of guards surrounded by Minusouls. He lunges forward and cuts through a few

Kaze: I've got this! You guys go run!

The guards look unsure for a minute, but take off quickly. Kaze stands there and takes a battle position. He casts Fire magic and blasts away at the Minusouls in a circle around him with Fire magic. He slashes at any that jump at him. He uses D- Link and copies Elox's power, back flipping and destroying all the Minusouls with magic arrows. He hears clapping and turns around to see Jafar

Jafar: Now that was something to behold! You are quite the young man. A lot braver and stronger than most of the palace guards. Tell me; are you a native of this world?

Kaze: What's going on? Something about this guy…I don't like talking to him. Uh yeah. I was just looking for someone

Jafar: Are you after the filthy street rat too? Perhaps we could come to an agreement. See, I need his help with something. And if you promise to help me, I'll make it worth your while.

He holds his staff in front of Kaze's face. The eyes glow and Kaze stares for a minute, and then shakes it off

Kaze: Sorry, I've got to go. You're welcome though!

He runs off and Jafar snarls, tapping his staff

Jafar: Things can never be simple

Kaze walks around the slums and sees the man in blue sitting on a rooftop. He jumps inside a hole in the wall. Kaze looks around and climbs up the wall after him, sitting right outside the window. He sees the man in blue laying down food in front of a small boy.

???: Here you are Aladdin.

Aladdin: It's amazing. All this good stuff!

???: Enjoy it Aladdin. You deserve it.

Aladdin: You eat something too.

???: Oh no Aladdin, don't worry about it. I need to leave anyway. I'll be back this afternoon though

Aladdin: You are? Promise dad!

???: It's a promise Aladdin

He leaps out the back window. Kaze stops looking and thinks for a second.

???: How long were you planning on watching us?

Kaze jumps back as the man stands there holding a knife to his throat. He gulps eyeing the blade

???: Are you working for Jafar or something? Why are you spying on me and my son?

Kaze: Hold on, it's nothing like that. I just wanted to know why the Minusouls were targeting you. I just wanted to ask a few questions, I swear!

???: …I believe you. We street rats learn to trust one another. I am Cassim

Kaze: Kaze.

Cassim: To answer your question, I don't know why the creatures have been coming after me. All I know is that it puts my son in danger. And I will not let that happen

Kaze: Your son? Oh right! He's that little boy in there right?

Cassim: Yes. That is my son, Aladdin.

Kaze: So that's you stole all those things? To give your son something to eat?

Cassim: That is the truth. His mother is already gone. I have to support him anyway I can. But what kind of father can I be to him if I can only support him by stealing? How can he proud knowing his father is nothing…nothing but a street rat?

Kaze: Hey…

Cassim: There is actually something I want you to help me with. Recently, I was approached by a man. He told me about this buried treasure hidden in the desert. If I were to get this treasure for him, he would give me a position under the Sultan. The problem is, this treasure is supposed to be well guarded. I need someone's help to get this treasure. Someone with skill. Would you…help?

Kaze: If you'll going to do it all for your son, how could I say no? You can count on me! I'll help you.

Cassim: I am very grateful for your help. We will leave as soon as the sun sets.

Kaze: Alright, I'll be back then

He runs off. Cassim looks back at Aladdin with a sad look and looks out over Agrabah. That night, Kaze and Cassim stand in town

Cassim: Let us hurry. The guards will not be looking as hard at night. That gives us a few hours.

Kaze: Let's go then. I'll keep the Minusouls off you.

Cassim hurries ahead as Kaze runs after him. The two head outside of the city and into the desert Minusouls appear al over the place and tackle at them. Kaze blocks Cassim and slashes through them his Keyblades. Several Jar Beetles and Pillagers appear and attack him. Jar Beetles spit out fire at him as he shoots out Blizzard magic to stop them. He tosses both Keyblades and they slash through the Minusouls, returning to his hand. They keep running through the old ruins as Minusouls keep appearing around them. Kaze casts Thunderara magic and blasts away Minusouls in a circle around them. Cassim takes out an Arabian style sword and begins to cut through the Minusouls as well. The two keep running across the desert sands and come across a large stone temple

Cassim: This is the place. A great treasure is supposed to be buried here deep inside. With that treasure, Aladdin will never go hungry again. Let us go already

Cassim walks up to the door and taps the door. He eventually clicks a switch on the door and pushes it in. A door then slides open, revealing the entrance to the temple. Cassim wastes no time and heads inside as Kaze follows him. Inside, there is a door with five stars on it

Cassim: Yes yes! This is it! The treasure of the Five Trails. Up ahead are five trials to test a treasure hunter. Surely our prize will be at the end of all of this.

Kaze: Right.

The two walk ahead and into the room of the first trial. Holes open up in all of the walls and begin shooting out arrows and spikes. Cassim and Kaze block with their weapons as there is an open door at the end of the hallway and a large chasm below. Cacti, Shrapnels, Threaders, and Hookliners appear as well. Cacti begin shooting out needles as Kaze casts Fire magic back at them, burning them away. Shrapnels begin firing metal shards at very fast speed as Kaze is pushed back by the force. He casts Aero magic and blows away a handful of Minusouls and then casts Thunder magic to destroy them in the air. Cassim is blocking the spikes with his swords. Hookliners swing across the chasm and lunge at the two as Cassim leaps into the air and Kaze grabs onto one of his arms, spinning around and throwing Kaze as he spins and slashes apart the Hookliners, landing on the spot near the door. He spins his Keyblade, blocking the spikes and Cassim runs over the bridge as the two walk through the door. The door shuts behind them as they are in the room of the second trial. Guillotines swing from the ceiling as Minusouls appear in front of the locked door. Kaze spins both his Keyblades and runs at them. Cleavers and Gladiators appear, swinging their blades as Kaze blocks them and pushes them back with Aero magic. Cassim runs ahead and dodge rolls under the guillotines, slashing at the Minusouls that stand in his way. Kaze blocks the blade as it almost hits him and slashes through the Minusouls circling them. The two keep running into the three star room. Bricks begin to fall as the floor is missing, vines on the walls. Cassim immediately jumps off and grabs onto the vines, climbing across the chasm. Kaze jumps onto the vines and follows as many Air Imps, Skystings, and Watchers appear. Kaze shoots Fire magic and blows up several Air Imps as Watchers shoot fire as well, Kaze blocking it with one Keyblade. An Air Imp hits him and he almost falls off the wall, slashing the Air Imp many times and destroying it before grabbing onto the vines again. UFOs appear and begin shooting lasers as Kaze blocks with his Keyblade and casts Thunderaga magic, destroying them. Cassim throws one of his swords and cuts through a Watcher as Kaze cuts through them while he climbs. Cassim and Kaze make it to the other side and run through the door to the fourth challenge. Slots in the wall open up and boulders begin rolling out in addition to Minusouls. Kaze and Cassim dodge as a boulder rolls towards them and crushing a Minusoul. Bouldroaches and Pods appear in front of them as they run along the walkway. Kaze jumps onto Cassim and takes his two swords, jumping into the air and slashing with all four swords, wiping out all the Pods. Several Treasured appear and begin firing out diamonds as projectiles as Cassim is hit back and a boulder knocks him forward. Kaze uses Cure magic and heals him before cutting through a Treasured. Cassim runs up and begins cutting at them as well. The two keep running as more boulders follow them. Spinners and Blallets appear, spinning quickly to hit them as both jump into the air and the boulder runs them down. A Spinner follows them into the air and begins to air combo them. Kaze casts Aero magic and it stops its attack and Kaze cuts it up. The two make it to the fifth door and the bricks below them crumble and they fall in midair. As they fall, Atlases, Hookliners, Dracs, and Dark Oaks appear and attack them. Kaze casts Slow magic and they move a lot more slowly and he uses D- Link to copy Zeus's power, shooting lightning from his Keyblade and blasts away the Dracs. A Dark Oak hits the two with its roots as Kaze falls more and is hit higher again by a Hookliner. Cassim slashes at an Atlas and makes it vanish as Kaze begins shooting Fira magic and burns away the Dark Oak. A Hookliner shoots out its hook and hits Cassim and continuously damages him before Kaze cuts the chain. He casts Aerora magic and blasts it to the ground as two Atlases move towards them. Kaze gets behind it and hits it until it vanishes. Cassim cuts at the front of the last Minusoul as they get closer to the ground. Kaze and Cassim get behind it and use it to cushion their fall, destroying the Atlas. The two run forward into a room with a treasure chest

Cassim: This is it!

He runs towards it and falls to his knees. He looks excited as he opens it and gold coins spill out. He laughs as he digs through it

Cassim: All this gold! Me and Aladdin will never go hungry again now!

Kaze smiles but looks shocked when Minusouls begin appearing. They prepare to pounce as Kaze rushes in and pushes Cassim aside. The Minusouls hit the chest and surround it with darkness.

Cassim: The treasure!

Kaze: Wait, I think it's some kind of…

He touches it and darkness pushes Cassim back. He looks in horror as the chest transforms into a chest and arms and legs appear made out of all. The chest opens as head appears [Gold Giga] and it roars at them. Kaze and Cassim stand in battle poses as the fight begins. Gold stomps towards them and smashes with its arms as the two dodge roll. Kaze begins casting Blizzard magic that freezes spots on it and blast away gold coins. Cassim jumps from behind and begins cutting at it, more gold coins swimming up and blocking his swords. It begins to roar and its head vanishes as it spits a stream of gold coins. Kaze is swept away and slams into a wall. The coins are sucked back into it and it continues to stomp around. Kaze jumps and begins cutting at with Cassim as more coins block and eventually its legs are gone. It floats in the air and flies towards Kaze, punching him into a wall. He stands up and uses D- Link to use Elox's power and begins firing magic arrows at it. The coins it blocks with are blasted off as its arms shoot out and coins blast the two back. Cassim once again throws his swords to Kaze and he slashes with all four, knocking all the coins away. Gold Giga falls to the ground and the two run up to attack him. They slash at him as it lies on the ground. Kaze casts fire magic and burns up the Minusoul. Cassim cuts at him with its dual swords and eventually the coins reform limbs and the Giga stands up. It swipes at them and knocks them back as they slide across the ground. Kaze jumps into the air and grabs Cassim's two swords, slashing with all four of the swords and cuts away the arms of the Giga. It kicks at Kaze as he blocks and rolls across the ground. He throws both his Keyblades and they hit the Minusoul, destroying one of its legs. Coins fly through the air and become arrows, aiming right at the two. Kaze casts Thunderara and blasts all the coins away and also hits Giga, destroying the other leg and it falls to the ground. Kaze and Cassim continue to cut at it as it lies on the ground before coins spiral around and blast them away, surrounding the chest and becoming a large ball. It spins around and flies around the room, knocking back Kaze and Cassim as it flies towards them. Kaze shoots Blizzard and Fire magic as it hits the outer shell and does nothing. The ball heads towards them as Kaze dodge rolls and it heads back towards him. Kaze quickly jumps over it and it crashes into a wall. The Giga returns to normal, dazed. Cassim and Kaze run forward and begin cutting at it, destroying its arms and legs and returning it to normal. The two keep attacking it and manage to defeat it. The chest cracks and blows up as the regular gold falls to the ground. The two stand there as the foundation begins to shake

Kaze: C'mon, we gotta get out of here!

Cassim looks at the treasure for a minute and runs over to grab it

Kaze: Cassim!

The building continues to crumble and he quickly runs out of the ruins as the building collapses. Kaze turns back and looks sad. A few moments later, Cassim digs himself out of the sand and begins to cough as Kaze runs over

Kaze: Are you okay?! Why on earth would you go back?!

Cassim: I…I had to go back for the treasure. I couldn't have gone all that way for nothing.

Kaze: Jeez…

Cassim: The sun will be up soon. Come, let's return to Agrabah

Kaze: …I'm not going back.

Cassim: Why not?

Kaze: Like you, I'm looking for something. And I came to this world hoping to find it. It isn't here though, so I'm going to look somewhere else

Cassim: I see. Well then, good luck to the both of us in our quests. I hope we meet again comrade

The two shake hands as Kaze's Keyblades sample Cassim's power. Cassim walks away with the gold as Kaze smiles

Kaze: Good luck. After all, you have a son to take care of

He throws both his Keyblades and they form a Keyblade Glider as he takes off. Meanwhile, Razoul walks out from behind a pillar and rubs his chin

Razoul: A true thief. Unlike any I've ever seen before

He grins with yellow teeth.
