Episode 117: Two Cards of Darkness!
Everyone is racing towards the dark sphere.
Yusuke: I was right. A Shadow Game has begun.
Axel: Who is dueling though? We're all here right now.
Alicia: In that case, an innocent person must have gotten involved.
Tamika: Come on then, pick up the pace!
They race off.
Ren: Sir…?
Baron: Damn…looks like things are getting awkward.
Dante: Not just one of them. There are two Cards of Darkness. You really want to get the job done, don't you Vergil?
Arnold stands outside the sphere and looks scared.
Arnold: Salia….Koga…
Inside, both Dragons continue to roar as Vlad and Dracul keep laughing. Salia coughs more blood and stands up, though she struggles to do so
Koga: Salia!
Salia: Koga…get up. We still have to…finish the duel.
Koga: Um…right.
Vlad: Hey, they're actually getting up!
Dracul: Good. We wouldn't want this to be boring. Come on kids. Curb our boredom for a little while longer.
Opening
In the dark sphere, the duel continues. Salia pants [Salia LP = 1000] as she has Archlord Kristya without a soul [ATK 0/DEF 0 LV 8] equipped with Fiendish Chain, Herald of Perfection equipped with Fiendish Chain [ATK 1800/DEF 2800 LV 6], and a set card. Dracul snickers [Dracul LP = 3200] as on his field is Underworld Dragon Dragonecro [ATK 3000/DEF 0 LV 8], Archlord Kristya Dark Soul [ATK 2800/DEF 2300 LV 8], and two Fiendish Chains. Koga looks scared and sweats [Koga LP = 1000] as he has Armored Ninja- Blade Heart [ATK 2200/DEF 1000 RANK 4] and a set card. Vlad laughs as well [Vlad LP = 2600] as he has Galaxy- Eyes Photon Dragon on the field [ATK 3000/DEF 2500 LV 8].
Salia: Here we go, draw! Two Cards of Darkness…whatever these things are, they're deadly. I can believe it now…if we draw things out, they'll kill us for sure. But if that happens, we can't keep this city safe for Seth! Trap card, Jar of Greed. This lets me draw one card. Beckoning Light. I have to do this right. I release Archlord Kristya and summon a monster in defense mode.
Dracul: Hmph. I get it. The monster can't attack, so you got rid of it. Not bad, not bad. But it won't keep you safe.
Salia: In addition, I set a card and end my turn.
Dracul: Draw. Of course I said that, but I'm not in a good place. Dragonecro has no choice but to steal the souls of monsters he battles. Vlad: If that's all…I guess we'd better end things.
Dracul: Yes, I suppose so. Ha ha ha!
Outside, everyone drives up.
Arnold: Everyone! Thank goodness you're here!
Axel: Hey wait a….Arnold?! Why are you here?!

As both monsters vanish, Air creates a mist. Vlad looks around as Air appears behind him, slashing him across the back as he gasps [Vlad LP = 1200]
Vlad: Y…You….turn end. At this time, my monsters come back [ATK 3000/DEF 2500 LV 8] [ATK 2200/DEF 1000 RANK 4].
Dracul: You really got hammered there. Maybe you can't keep up…?
Vlad: I just caught by surprise! You shut up and pay attention to your own duel anyway!
Salia: Nice Koga! Come on; let's just go on for a little while longer. Draw. I use Pot of Greed. This lets me draw 2 cards. Trap card, Beckoning Light. It flies towards it and punches it, destroying it. Dracul blocks with his arms [Dracul LP = 2200].
Dracul: Damn. No need for my Trap yet, but if this keeps up…come on, don't think that way! She just summoned another monster for prey!
Salia: I set a card and end my turn.
Dracul: You're not very bright kid. You just summoned a monster weaker than Dragonecro! Time to collect the soul of my next slave. Draw! Hm…just as a precaution, I use the Continuous Spell Branch! Salia: I knew it. Someone as arrogant as you would attack. Quick- Play Spell, Forbidden Chalice. Now one monster gains 400 attack points [ATK 3200/DEF 2300 LV 8].

Archlord charges through Dragonecro's face. It roars as it collapses, turning into dust [Dracul LP = 2000].
Dracul: Damn…using the power of Branch, I revive Hellfire Spearman [ATK 2000/DEF 0 LV 4]. You got lucky. Next turn I'll get you. For sure.
Salia: Keep talking. I'll make sure to take you down! If I don't…I can never face Seth again.
Koga: She's so confident…me too! I'll be strong too! I can't let these guys get the better of me, no matter what! Draw. I use Ninja Sacred Prediction Arts. When there is a Ninja monster out, I draw 2 cards and then discard one. I release Armored Ninja- Blade Heart.
Vlad: Heh?!
Koga: Come on, Armored Ninja- Earth [ATK 1600/DEF 1200 LV 5]. Now I use the Spell card Silent Doom. This lets me revive one monster from my graveyard. Come on back, Ansatsu [ATK 1700/DEF 1200 LV 5].
Vlad: What's the point? Sure you got rid of the Exceed monster, but now you've got level 5 garbage. Wait…level 5?
Koga: I Overlay my level 5 Armored Ninja- Earth and level 5 Ansatsu.
Both monsters turn into balls that fly inside of a swirling galaxy, causing it to explode.
Koga: With these two monsters I construct the Overlay Network. Exceed Summon! Show yourself, Ninja King- Power Warrior [ATK 3000/DEF 900 RANK 5]
Vlad: Damn! It has the same attack points as Galaxy- Eyes Photon Dragon! But it is an Exceed monster! You're taking a big risk going at me with Exceed monsters, especially with Overlaid cards.
Koga: We'll see. Turn end! I'm counting on you, Power Warrior. Let me win this duel
In the dark room, everyone keeps watching.

Koga: What?!
Salia: He turned on his own ally?!
Dracul: To revive a monster, its attack points must be subtracted from its owner's life points.

The gate reappears. Vlad turns slightly as chains lash out. Dracul looks down as Vlad screams and tries to run as he is bound and pulled inside the door. He grabs onto the edge.

He is pulled inside as the doors slam shut. Koga and Salia look in shock.
Salia: How…how could you do that?!
Dracul: I didn't want to. But you have to do what it takes to survive. And this is the only one to do so. Life Link's other effect. One monster on the field gains the attack points of the monster I brought back. The soul of Kristya grows stronger [ATK 5800/DEF 2300 LV 8]. This is just what I needed. Finish her off once and for all! Attack! Combo Attack!
Koga: I'll help! I remove the second Overlay Unit and negate the effect of Life Link. This'll help Salia!

The two monsters fly into the attack, charging through it and through Dragon. It cracks and blows up. Dracul screams as the darkness dissipates. [Dracul LP = 0]
Tamika: There they are!
Dracul: No….I won't…let it end….here!
He runs towards them. Salia screams and steps back when a light fires, hitting the ground. Dracul is blinded and steps back as chains bind them, dragging him into the door.
Dracul: No! One more chance, just give me one more chance! I won't let you down, I promise! One more chance, one more…!
He is pulled inside the gate.
Pig: Well, that was a total failure.
Vergil: Not necessarily. I think it's…interesting.
He keeps his eyes on Salia.
Axel: You idiots! What were you thinking?!
Arnold: Are you two okay?
Koga: Yeah…we think so.
Salia: But…who helped us?
???: Jeez…
Salia's eyes widen. They all turn to see someone standing on a roof. Dante backs away and vanishes.
Seth: You guys just can't stay out of trouble, can you?

Koga leaps and jump kicks Baron away. He bows as Baron crawls into view.
Baron: Okay….I believe you….
