Card of the Day: Synchro Straight
In a lunchroom, the rest of Yusuke's class is sitting around eating lunch.

Diablo has Deviel Top [ATK 500/DEF 100 LV 1], Deviel Attack [ATK 900/DEF 200 LV 1], Deviel Guard [ATK 100/DEF 1000 LV 1], Deviel Carrier [ATK 800/DEF 600 LV 1], and Machine Emperor Deviel Infinity [ATK 2300/DEF 1900 LV 1]. Yusuke has no cards on his field. Neo has Vylon Delta equipped with Silver Bow and Arrow [ATK 2000/DEF 3100 LV 7].

Top attaches to the chest, turning black. Attack shifts into an arm with the stinger at the end and attaches to the empty chest. [ATK 2300/DEF 1600 LV 1].
Neo: It didn't gain any attack points though. All you did was add different parts to it. Physically, it isn't any stronger.
Diablo: Idiot. There are many different Machine Emperors. Each of its parts has a different effect. By mixing up multiple parts, the Machine Emperor grows in power through effects alone. I destroy Waspiel Attack to summon Waspiel Attack 3 [ATK 1000/DEF 0 LV 1]
The new stinger becomes an arm and attaches to the chest piece [ATK 2500/DEF 1600 LV 1]

The arm splits into two and becomes two legs that hook onto the bottom of Infinity [ATK 1100/DEF 8200 LV 1].
Angelo: As Wisel Guard is now equipped to Angiel, I can negate an attack against him. The ultimate defending monster is now even more powerful. The wings hook onto the back [ATK 2700/DEF 1900 LV 1]
Diablo: This is the end! I halve the attack points of my monster [ATK 1350/DEF 600 LV 1]. This lets me attack directly. Not to mention, Carrier negates any Trap cards you try and use against me. Strike Yusuke down!

It shoots the red laser at Yusuke. His eyes widen as the attack surges towards him. Neo looks in shock and shakes his head, jumping in the way and taking the attack. Everyone seems surprised as Neo screams in pain [Neo LP = 2650]
Yusuke: Neo….what are you doing!?
Neo: Yusuke…I couldn't let you get hurt again. It's like you said yourself. We're a team. And a team….always works together!
Diablo: Yuck. They're making me sick to my stomach Angelo. Let's just crush em and be done with it. Turn end.
Neo: My turn. Here we go. With this, we can finally turn the tide of battle! I use the Spell card Vylon Draw. By destroying a Vylon monster with a level of 6 or above, I draw 2 cards. I destroy Vylon Delta. That means I draw two cards
Angelo: What?! But without Vylon Delta inside of Angelo, he loses all those points! He's smart…. [ATK 1100/DEF 3700 LV 1]
Neo: Now I release my set monster and summon Vylon Selector [ATK 2000/DEF 1000 LV 5]. When this monster is summoned, I revive a Tuner monster in the graveyard. I revive the Tuner monster Vylon Sphere [ATK 200/DEF 400 LV 1]
Diablo: You're really going to Synchro Summon again?! Idiot! If you do it, the Machine Emperor will end your life!
Neo: This is no ordinary Synchro Summon. I Double Tune the level 1 Vylon Sphere, level 5 Vylon Selector, and level 4 Vylon Prism
Angelo: Double Tuning?!
Sphere and Selector become 6 rings that Prism flies through, becoming 4 stars [1 + 5 + 4 = 10]
Neo: Summon forth, the last and strongest of the robots. Synchro Summon! Burn, Vylon Omega [ATK 3200/DEF 1900 LV 10].
Diablo: Damn, that's a good monster! Wasn't expecting him to actually summon something like that.
Neo: When Vylon Omega is summoned, he destroys all Normal Summoned monsters. So far, you guys only have two Normal Summoned monsters. That means Wisel Top and Wisel Guard. With them gone, your monsters lose power [ATK 2100/DEF 1900 LV 1] [ATK 1900/DEF 2500 LV 1].

Angelo: And now the effect of my monster! Twice per turn, my monster deals damage equal to his defense points. So now I deal two 2500 point sets of damage. This is it! Take 5000 points of damage!
Yusuke: Trap card, A Friend's Compassion! If one of my monsters was destroyed last turn and I have no monsters out now, all damage I take this turn goes to zero. Neo sacrificed Vylon Omega, so all your damage is now gone.
The feathers hit the barrier and vanish.
Angelo: You think you're so strong huh?! Well, you won't win! I change Angiel to attack mode [ATK 1300/DEF 2500 LV 1]. Next turn, I will both attack and use his effect. Angelo: Impossible!
Yusuke: I attack Machine Emperor Angiel Infinity. Warp Dimension Fire
It shoots a stream of fire and rips apart Infinity. The fire hits Angelo as he hisses [Angelo LP = 2800]
Yusuke: Now that your monster has been destroyed, half of its power is dealt to you as damage.
Fire hits him again [Angelo LP = 2150]
Angelo: I…I still stand!
Yusuke: Trap card, Relentless Attacks. This lets me monster attack once more. Strike him down. This is for Neo
It shoots fire and Angelo is blown away by the fire and blows away into the wall. He slides to the ground [Angelo LP = 0]
Angelo: It can't be…the Dual Cherubs have been beaten…
The doors are unlocked. Yusuke runs over to Neo
Yusuke: Neo! Neo! Are you awake?!
Neo: Yeah…I'm fine.
Diablo: Darn…I won't let this go!
He stands up again and runs towards the two. They flinch when someone shoots Diablo through the chest. He gasps and falls to the ground
Angelo: Diablo!
Armen: Sorry. But I must place you under arrest.
Police officers surround him. Angelo moves back and huddles against the wall as he is shot all over
Angelo: This wasn't how it was supposed to be! We were just supposed to get paid and go home! This isn't what was promised! This isn't….
He falls unconscious
Armen: Stun bullets. They'll be fine in a few hours. Now then, let's get you out of here.
Yusuke: Right.
The two leave the building and see their friends
Alicia: Yusuke, thank goodness! Are you hurt?
Yusuke: Nah. I'm doing alright.
Neo: Yeah, I've felt worse.
Armen: Terribly sorry the tour didn't go as planned. Perhaps we could schedule for another time?
Yusuke: That would be nice. But if you ask me, I'd have enough for a while

He puts a hand on Neo's shoulder, grins, and walks off. Neo shivers and puts a hand to his shoulder
