Episode 85: Round 2! Yusuke vs Chimera!
It is early morning. Yusuke gets up and looks out at the sun slowly rising.
Yusuke: Round 2….I wonder if I'll meet Neo there…
On a penthouse roof, Neo is looking out over the city. He looks sad as he imagines a red eyed him standing next to him.
Sigma: What are you being such a wimp about?
Neo: We'll have to hurt more people won't we?
Sigma: Well, looks like someone has quite the conscious for a robot. Besides, I'm the one who'll be fighting
Neo: It doesn't feel right. After all, they can't be rebuilt like we can. And my friends….
Sigma: Jeez you can be a whiney little brat. Fine, I PROMISE not to hurt them your highness.
Neo: ….Right. I guess I better go.
Sigma: Fina-LEE!
Neo walks away from the balcony and his eyes turn red
Opening
At the stadium, everyone is cheering.

The wheel has a picture of every duelist on it. It spins around quickly and suddenly stops on Yusuke.
Announcer: And our first duelist, id none other than Yusuke Iruiza!
Yusuke: Huh? Me already?
Seth: Heh. You're lucky.
Announcer: And his foe…
The wheel spins again and lands on Chimera. Tamika's eyes widen
Announcer: And it's none other than Chimera! Our first duel is Yusuke vs Chimera! Without any further ado, let's get things started!
Yusuke: Alright, guess I better get ready.
Seth: Good luck.
Chimera: So he's my foe….
He walks off as well.
Alicia: Chimera huh? I've never really seen him duel.
Tamika: They're fighting? Why…
Dex: He hurt Neo. Don't you want to see he gets hurt for that>
Tamika stands up in anger and quickly leaves the stands.
Dex:…Was it something I said?
In the hallway, Yusuke is walking down the hall. He stops when he sees Tamika standing there.
Yusuke: Tamika, shouldn't you sit back down? You aren't allowed to be here.
Tamika: Yusuke….there's something I need to tell you. But you have to promise not to tell anyone else.

Yusuke's eyes widen. In the top box, Chimera is revving his engine.

They both race off down the road as a separate path opens up for them. They end up on the highest road that stands over the stadium. Chimera speeds ahead for a minute as Yusuke has a hard time keeping up.
Chimera: Yes, I'll get the first turn. That's good.
Grayson: Chimera, let him go first.
Grayson is speaking through a hidden microphone.
Chimera: But sir….
Grayson: If he goes first, you can more easily access what is in his hand.
Chimera: ….Yes sir….
He slows down enough for Yusuke to turn the corner

The fire burns Golem and a barrier blocks it before Yusuke.

It charges straight through
Chimera: When Koa'ki Meiru Boulder is destroyed, I add a Koa'ki Meiru monster to my hand from my deck.
Yusuke: No problem. I attack you with Synchro Warlord. Go get him!
Chimera: By discarding Koa'ki Meiru Landshield and one Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru, I get to negate an attack.
A shield blocks the attack.

Yusuke: You keep bringing back that one monster.

Lava forms on Valafar's hand and it punches through Darter, destroying it. Yusuke screams as the fire spreads over him [Yusuke LP = 2300]. He spins out rapidly and almost crashes.
Chimera: With that, I end my turn. Now Valafar is destroyed.
Yusuke: But that makes no sense! Why summon something if it'll just be destroyed?!
Grayson: Chimera, nice work. A few more now.
Axel: What the hell is he doing? It's like he's trying quick and heavy attempts at damage rather than protecting himself. Almost as though…he wants to end it quickly, win or lose.
Tamika: Corey, this isn't you.
Chimera: A little more….just a little more and this pain will go away.
Yusuke: Corey…
Neo looks with sad eyes as the two keep racing down the road
Ending
Narrator: The pain in Chimera's heart is too intense to be quelled by simple means. His only reason for dueling is to protect his family, with no thoughts to enjoyment or his own safety.
