I have the same PS3, generally I dont have any sounds, but specifically when I was playing MW3 it always made some wierd sound.

Is it constant?

What kind of loud noises? My slim makes a cracking sound, which is normal as the plastic expands due to heat. If that sounds like your issue, here is a partial solution to ease the sound.

I don't think so. Sounds like the noises are coming from the disc player.

I just bought the bundle 250gb with forza and skyrim... Is it the same 250gb console as the standard one without the bundle/games?

I am asking because for the ps3, they use a different console.

I don't care about the games so i should have just went with the standard one but it was out of stock and same price.

I don't think there is TDM in this game.

Anyone know how to change the controller layout or the sensitivity?

I played the first two gears of wars but did not enjoy the multiplayer. Is the multiplayer for gears of wars 3 much better compared to the first two? or is it not worth it?

Looking at some motherboards, any opinions on the gigabyte UD3H-B3/UD4 or the V-Pro and the Extreme 4?

Also for rams, i've always bought G.Skill for my rams. Should i stick with G.Skill? Any suggestions for rams?

I agree but i believe the 2600k has more potential and will last longer?

Thanks for the quick responses. I don't want the most expensive PC but i don't mind spending money for a good PC. I'm looking into the 2600k as a possibility and 570/580 for the video card. I am a little clueless when it comes to motherboards compared to CPUs and video cards so i'm still searching for a mobo.

I also plan on getting a new PSU because due to age, i think my PSU has lost some capacity.
