it's really only for low RAM situation essential at 512MB and helps at 1024MB but is useless with setup using more than 1 GB. Still it's kinda neat if you're looking for a cheap RAM boost. Looks silly right now but it's gonna be useful in the future

Great card except it doesn't really hold the performance crown and neither will it cause a big commotion, it's basically like the X850, it was faster but never really got any attention due to it's high price. If people want raw performance they'll go with one (or two) 7950GX2, especially if their monitor is higher than 1280 * 1024 or widescreen, that's were a 7950GX2 really blows everything, plus you don't really need AA at high resolution, well not as much
