@spottedfeather: From literal definition: Fantasy literature is set in an imaginary universe, often but not always without any locations, events, or people from the real world. Magic, the supernatural and magical creatures are common in many of these imaginary worlds.
So fantasy doesn't need medieval setting. Where do you live man?
@spottedfeather: Yes... sci-fi horror monster movie. Of course it's horror, don't be so pedantic. Everywhere it is described as a horror movie, it's one of the most famous horror franchises, the cast, director and writers consider it a horror movie.
@walidras: Because Kiwami is remake of 1, 0 is a prequel. Doesn't really matter in what order you play it, but prequels usually have some references to originals that fans will get.
@suicidesn0wman: Just because a game isn't broken doesn't mean it is not trash. By trash I mean a bit below mediocre, so yeah I'm exaggerating a bit, guilty.
@suicidesn0wman: I played Dead Rising 1 in September. It's still amazing. This is trash. Anything I list won't be a good reason for you, so I will save my fingers and not type a long response why.
I'm glad you found enjoyment from it, but please do not say that 10 year old games are not as good as we remember them.
@Myron117:Uh... I'm more leaning towards Sony, usually, since PS2 era, but come on. Sony brought: a cinematic God of War game, cinematic Zombie shooter, cinematic David Cage game and Horizon/The Last Guardian (only two that looked like a video game). Along with that it brought cinematic VR games (resident evil 7... ugh what happened) and a bunch of CGI trailers that mean nothing.
Microsoft brought:
- third person shooter Gears of War 4
- open world zombie game that is crazy and over the top Dead Rising 4
- metroidvania/platformer Recore
- RTS Halo Wars 2 (and there aren't many RTS being released)
- Forza Horizon 3, a racing game (same as RTS, not many being released nowadays)
- Sea of Thieves, colourful multiplayer/MMO? pirate adventure you can play with friends
- hacknslash (even with coop) Scalebound, not too many of those either)
- State of Decay 2, a sequel to one of the most defined open world zombie survival horror games
- great indie line up (especially Inside, kinda sequel to fantastic Limbo)
Sorry, but based on actual variety Microsoft definitely was better.
