Theres storms going around all over the US right now, and it's even snowing in the south. But you know it's bad when it storms so bad that Michigan State University closes classes :lol:. Soo all classes are cancelled tomorrow, which was a nice little birthday present :D

College is starting soon, so I realized that I needed to hurry up and get a laptop. I was looking around a lot, especially with Sony, but again, HP and the specs that you get at their prices and quality are almost unbeatable.

I got the HP Pavilion dm4 with an intel core i5 processor (an i5 processor on a laptop that weighs a bit more than 4 lbs. Amazing.).

It has very conservative looks, but I like that. Sleek, but not to flashy. It's also light, just weighing a bit more than 4lbs.

What I love is the specs though..intel core i5-430M 2.26GHz processor w/turbo boost upto 2.53GHz. 4GB DDR3 memory, and a 500GB hard drive. And the price was $780 for the laptop. I can't believe I was looking at Sony laptops for $820+ with i3 processors.

If you are planning on getting a new laptop, definitely check this HP out. An i5 processor at prices of $780 is very hard to find.

I also picked up a new bluetooth headset at walmart for $20. I bought it mainly for my PS3, but oddly, it works and sounds as well as some expensive headsets. My dad has an expensive moto bluetooth, and he was also surprised. It synced with no problem at all with my PS3 slim and my HTC Hero. If you need a bluetooth headset for cheap, I highly recommend this one. Link to the product on amazon. I head it doesn't work with iPhones though, so be careful.

What did I do this so late? I have no idea :lol:. But I hope you had as much fun reading it as I did making it.

Recently, my sister got an iPhone, so she nicely gave me her iTouch to use. I was very happy because my Zune broke recently, and all I got was a gift card of a 120 dollars that I don't want to spend at office max >_>.

So I plug in my ipod touch and realize one scary factor of owning once..iTunes.

I've been using Zune software for the last 3 years, and to be honest, it blows away iTunes in every possible category. Sadly, you can't use Zune music player to sync an iTouch, so I tunes it is.

The second I upload my music folder into iTunes..The problems immediately start.

First off all: half of my music is in WMA (Windows Media Audio AKA something windows, which Apple refuses to acknowledge :x).

So there starts my long process of converting all my WMA folders into MP3 (preferably LAME VBR). After a long 4 hours of converting, my process is done.

But then begins other random problems that took forever to solve. For some reason, it refused to put some albums in my iTunes library, so then begins the process of converting those too.

So far the advantages of iTunes:

My last.fm will work normally as opposed to using annoying Foobar 2.0.

Disadvantages:

..Everything else?

So yeah..Back to the basics..:x

Anyone else ever have to switch back to iTunes besides me by the way?

Hey there guys :). My first blog so I thought I'd write on something I've been thinking about recently..

Senior year is almost over for me. Grade are turned in and all I have is 3 days to show up and I'm done. For me I am very excited to graduate, but only recently has it hit me on some of the regrets I have and all of the people I will miss. The thing is, for college, I'm moving pretty far away. I'm going from Pittsburgh, Pa to East Lansing, Michigan.

This whole year I've been talking about how I'll barely miss anything from my HS, and am excited to graduate (because of how my senior year of Football went and I find my grade pretty damn annoying.). But only recently has it hit me about all the great friends I've made through high school, and how many people I really am close with and will miss. It hit me the most last night last night where a couple of my Junior friends gave me a card and a good amount of money wishing me good luck for graduation. I was not expecting that at all, nor did I ask for it. Later that night I just tought about how many people I will probably not see again. I also thought about my football experience, and although it did not go well my senior year, just how much I'll miss the whole experience with playing and practicing everyday with close friends.

Although there are a few things I regret not doing(and a few things I regret doing), I had a fun Senior year and an overall great time through High School. I will try to keep up with my friends as much as possible too, and make sure not to forget them. I am very excited for college though, and will try to make my Graduation as fun as possible. I'll make sure to have a great time with the friends I've made before it's time to move off to Michigan. Overall though, it's been a great time :).

So I'd like to ask you guys, anyone else graduating? Anyone already graduate? Are you excited/Did you have a fun time? Will you/Did you miss anything?
