You're not quite grasping what Steam is and how it works with your games, you're also under the mistaken impression that everyone shops like it's Christmas 365 days a year

What would be a good idea is that you could read up on Steam and how it works with games, once you understand I think you'll be a lot better with the whole situation

Quoted for truth, Jaysonguy has told you how it is an you've abused him for it. Blame the developers for making you use steam if you really have to pick a bone, steam is doing what it does, and at christmas time its definately going to be slower. If you installed it from the CD/DVD then it normally wouldn't take 4hrs to get a game updated on an average day, however this isn't an average day, so show some patience.

Also from australia, the left sidebar seems to pop up middle page, you can't read anything underneath it, voiding the whole point of clicking an article.

What about if you spawn on a squad mate that getting sprayed (in HC you cannot see whats happening to ur squad member before u spawn), or what if someone revives you and you do not even have a chance to run or shoot before you die again. Travel with your team mates. Your squad should provide some protection. Find a squad thats doing the objectives and just be a part of it, tag along, stay alive, learn the map.

Use the numerous weapons platforms/vehicles to help your team.

Playing a medic, make your primary roll support, medkits and revives are just as useful as killing the enemy.

Playing an engineer, stay in tanks/gunners and repair them, every vehicle driver appreciates a repairing team mate.

Playing Recon, spot, hunt tanks with c4, throw motion sensors all useful without having to aim down a barrel. Use the ALL KITS class just to gain access to motion sensors, they are a must.

Playing assault, drop ammo, fire smoke grenades to support your team, then rush forward with them.

As you now know, there is a variety of ways to play that don't all involve high k/d but are just as useful. You'll have fun knowing you've helped win. Hope the advice helped.

Strange steam says 130 hours, this stats page says 90 hrs! You can see I really love medic, rank 33 and have unlocked barely anything haha. Engineer and c4 Recon they way to play!

Overal KDR says 2.28, mainly due to crappy assault and medic.

Firstly what game are you trying to play? Are you running fraps? As an issue with some games and fraps leads to delayed keyboard inputs, exactly as u describe. It happened to me on crysis. So check what programs you have running in the background, turn them off and see how u go. As for the keyboard turning off, thats a defect for sure.
